While watching Sportscenter on this yesterday, I came to the realization that this is probably one of the better karma moments in history. I've always disliked Manny in a big way. His lack of hustle and disruptive nature to the clubhouse is exactly what I hate in major leage/professional sports. He was without a doubt a great player but this will obviously put a large " * " next to his name. Not only does this indicate steroid usage, it does it in such an embarassing way. Hell, he can't even dispute it. Taking a prescription for a medical condition?

What do you think? I'm really digging it. The John Doe and P. Hood collaborations alone make it worth price of admission. Much harder edge to it than any other Cracker release I can think of.

He's saying it was related to a non-steroid, medication that his Dr. presribed. If so, 50 games seems a bit steep. I'm guessing he's leaving a little bit and piece out.

I think it's very good. Some of the songs are on the heavier side for Cracker but it definitely works. I think these guys struggled a bit after their early success. I think the albums were somewhat hit and miss (mostly hit for me). I liked their last one (Greenland?) but it doesn't get much in the way of spins anymore. I like this one quite a bit more. I need to spend more time listening though. Patterson Hood does a duet on one song...as does John Doe. That alone raises the stock on this one.

Sounds great, Lou. I love the bulk of the Bottle Rockets output and they NEVER disapoint live. Looking forward to their new one.
