Just watched this. The great dialogue, classic moments, the chemistry of Bogie and Bergman...I love this film.

I know its a LOOOONG shot, but if he would open for Wilco in May.................I would be happy. Still can't decide on a favorite song on "Bitter Honey". Every time I listen to the album another song just hits me.

I am really looking forward to this show. The best seats I have ever had for a reserved seating show. Did you need a password for the Ticketmaster pre-sale?

I just discovered "Bitter Honey". About 30 seconds into N.M.A. my jaw dropped. WOW! Amazing album, start to finish. Can't believe I didn't hear of him 'til now. Another one I owe to this board.

4th row in the beautiful Walker Theatre in Winnipeg!!!! (I refuse to call it the Burton Cummings Theater) Fargo is general admission so we will get there early. Anyone have any info on the Fargo Civic Center? I have never been there, but the seating chart on Ticketmaster's site looks like it will be a decent set up. Just wonder if the floor seating is sloped or just level. WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!! If they open with Remember The Mountain Bed at either show I will LOSE it!!

I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting word from my better half that we have tickets for the Fargo and Winnipeg shows. The faint squeal of delight heard 'round the world in an hour or two, that's me. I hate being stuck at work.......

We are seeing them in Minneapolis on Apr. 21 (Happy Birthday to my wife!), at the Southern Theater. It's part of the Wordless Music tour, and should be a great show.

Hands down one of my favorite albums of all time.

Must be nice to be all nonchalant about all the MMJ shows you have seen, . I am very jealous................Maybe we will save up this year and rock out at one of these festivals next year.

You are reviewing the new one already, after it's been out for about half a day? I can't imagine anything with Kozelek being an instant grabber for someone who isn't a big fan. I am sure it will only get better with age.

My wife is tormented now. She pre-ordered the album, and the book and bonus CD yesterday. Needless to say she is a HUGE Kozelek fan. She is seeing him in Minneapolis in June as well. She is torn between listening to the myspace stream and waiting for the arrival in the mail.

Yeah, I think I will call the club and see what they think. Plus, with the smaller venue, I am HOPING that I will be able to meet them after the show, maybe get some stuff signed and pictures taken.....Yeah, it's cheesy, but I LOVE this band.

I think that is a great setlist. Would love to see all those Being There tunes for an encore. That is the first Wilco record I bought when it came out and has huge sentimental value to me.

I am seeing British Sea Power at the Triple Rock Social Club this weekend and I am wondering if I would be able to take a camera in to take photo's during their set. Are most smaller venues fairly nonchalant about this, or what are the average policies? I looked on the website of the club and could not find any info. The only camera I have is a fairly expensive one so I don't want to lose it. I was thinking I could buy one of those disposable ones too, to take into the venue. Let me know if you have any thoughts. At the end of the song, where the female voice repeats "Yankee...Hotel....Foxtrot....", does anyone have any idea where that's from? I am curious, and a friend of mine who I just introduced to Wilco is curious. Any info/speculation is much appreciated.

It's shaping up to be quite the weekend. We are also seeing X (John Doe's band) on Saturday. It should be good. This will be wild. This weekend goes against every grain of my being. I like to have everything planned well in advance to the last detail. This will be good. I need to be out of my element more. Listening to Canvey Island right now actually. Doing some financial figuring, and...............I AM IN!!!! Hopefully my bro-in-law and I still get along after 16 hours in a car in one weekend, haha. I have to see them! VERY few opportunities to see bands like them around here.

HOLY SHIT!!!!! There is a 99% chance I will be seeing them in Minneapolis this Friday. Just have to work out some final details. Sixteen hours of driving there and back.......Will be most certainly be worth it!!
