Could someone tell me where to live in the Baltimore area? Please?
-
Today I sold my house for 5k over asking.

I too enjoy being right up front. One of the best was being right at Nels' feet in Hartford a couple years back. With no barrier, I had no choice but to rest my beer on the stage when it was time to clap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I should be going to see The Garcia Project tonight, but there's a big stupid UCONN soccer event going on in my town tonight and everyone is going to that. My husband committed to working the concession stand, and I cannot find a soul to go with me. For a sport that no one in my family has much feelings for. I'm a little bitter about it. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Utica Club. UC for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Utica sucks. And I'm from Utica. But it would be a good stop for the night. Albany would be better though. Closer, shorter drive the next morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Things get going pretty early on Saturday and Sunday. Noon or so. I'm old and by the end of the day I'm exhausted, so for me it's good to be close. You can always pm me if you have your eye on something and want to know how close it is. I live not too far away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's it Donna, Freightyard. I knew it sounded wrong. Yes, from there, there's a pedestrian bridge over the road, taking you almost to the entrance. Every year we're amazed there's so many spots available.

Hmmm. It just takes me to the app, the probably because I'm already signed in. Why don't you try reposting on tongue tied Lightning sub forum? More people read that and might be able to help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, it looks like we are moving to Baltimore this summer. So I spent the entire weekend decluttering my house to get ready to sell it. And it snowed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I think what I did was to search "via chicago forum" on Explorer on my phone, then when I selected it, it prompted me to open it on Tapatalk. Have you tried that? Leigh

I've given up. The funny thing is, he was the music guy. He was a dj in the 60's and had a killer record collection. He was only a crotchety old man about my music.

I know you're not crotchety. It was just the word that made me think of my dad.

Your post made me chuckle, TSJ. Any time I play ANY music, my father says it's derivative. For years. From when I was 15 and listening to The Who, until now (I'm 45), when I'm listening to lots of different stuff!

I listened to them some yesterday. I like them. In an unhinged, Foxygen sort of way.

Last week may have been my worst ever

Sorry to hear, SPC. Bad news keeps coming this way as well. Maybe a cosmic reshuffle? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I go to a place in CT, Infinity Hall, that does its own ticketing. Just a dollar or two to have the tickets sent in the mail, $0 for will call. No other fees. Prices are extremely reasonable. I just paid $40 (?) to see Justin Townes Earle. In a 300 seat theater, no less. They have a restaurant on site, so they are getting some money that way as well, but I feel that they are fairly making a modest profit and filling seats by being reasonable. Also, by not being affiliated with a ticketing agency, they announce their own shows via email first, and when it's announced, it's on sale. No presale b

I haven't seen the whole band, but I saw the guitarist's smaller group, Acoustic Alchemy a few months ago. Mik Bondy, the guitarist, is really good though. I'm a little biased maybe because he was a friend in high school, a really long time ago, I may add. He dropped his career in graphic design to follow his dream full time. He's seeing a fair bit of success and press which is so great to see. Not long ago he sat in with Melvin Seals when his guitarist was late getting to a gig. After his show here, he came over to our house and partied a while. He shared with me that I was the one w
