Perhaps you misunderstood. I wrote that if somebody started a "worst song ever" thread, I would probably suggest L.A. Woman. That's my opinion. The Doors blow. That song blows. Jim Morrison blows. Your opinion may differ. I think that's one of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever heard. That's my opinion.

motherfucking YES wynn is just absolutely a remarkable song writer with a mind-boggling body of work & that may be my favorite wynn / dream syndicate / gutterball track his last record - crossing dragon bridge - is excellent. and an incredibly great guy and i believe just got married to linda this weekend

somebody sent me a scaled-down thick as a brick a friend of his put together, eliminating some of the repetition on the second half and the drum solo it's like 22 minutes and doesn't drag ... really awesome

yeah, i've read about that ... apparently the US version has song titles throughout each video? which is driving people crazy .. instad of fading them out after a few seconds i'm not a big video guy ... just happy listening to some of the remarkable live shows --> oct. 13 1978 chicago ... april 18, 1972 in rome ... oct. 20, 1973 in london .... live genesis is just ridiculous i saw 'em about 20 times from the lamb tour through and then there were 3 and finding their stuff has aged beautifully i still can't play the cinema show solo on the keys though

James Taylor is the worst artist in the history of recorded music.

As much as I love the Beatles, I can't listen to them at all now. Not quite sure why that is. Most stuff I grew up - Who, Kinks, Stones, Genesis, Yes, ELP - has aged really well for me, and I can still listen to music from those bands every once in a while. Beatles, I just can't get through anything. Weird. And kinda sad.

I saw My Morning Jacket live in a small theater maybe in 2003 or 2004 and found them full of energy and life but lacking in songs. Despite numerous attempts, my opinion has not changed.

what talent? seriously? robbie robertson? am i missing a joke here? rick danko is one of my favorite musicians of all-time and robbie may be a dick, but come on ... one of the great songwriters of our generation he doesn't need a solo career to confirm that, although the first solo record & storyville were both great

of course that's why people post here that's why you responded to what i wrote your tastes can still be your tastes but still get pissed when artists dismiss their early work. john lennon used to slam his beatles songs. didn't make me love them any less, but it pissed me off. i didn't like that he did it and i think when most artists do that, it's agenda driven and not a true reflection of their feelings of their stuff
