  1. I had a random conversation with some stranger over Loose Fur, now THAT'S how you do it lol
  2. 2nd that, others off the top of my head... Anything by Jeff Dave Matthew's Crush and Gravedigger off of the Benaroya Hall Damien Rice's The Professor Josh Ritter's The temptation of Adam (If you discount the horn intro) These are what I've been listening to recently, I'm sure there are many more
  3. With 2 listens the new album isn't really doing it for me, all of it kind of sounds the same. There are some high points, worth the purchase for a UM fan of course. Maybe it'll grow on me? Anyways the tune In the Kitchen is what sold me on UM, their live in Chicago New Years cd is GREAT, highly recommended.
  4. Sometime last summer I had SBS, YHF, and AGIB in my shorts pocket, then I washed the shorts Luckily they are all on my ipod which is what consumes 95% of my listening
  5. To drop a recent quote of mine..."All you can eat smorgasbord of cougar poon"
  6. http://mountainjam.com/ So my friends I are juggling around the idea of doing either Bonnaroo or Mountain Jam (Be all of our first time at either event) Bonnaroo's higher price and distance are making Mountain Jam a nice alternative, lineup.... Gov't Mule, Allman Bros, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ray Lamontagne, Coheed and Cambria, Derek Trucks Band, The Hold Steady, Richie Havens, Jackie Greene , Girl Talk, Tea Leaf Green, Railroad Earth, Porter Batiste Stolz, Railroad Earth, Brett Dennen, The Lee Boys, U-Melt, The Macpodz, and The Brew Personally, I hold Mule, Allman Bros, and DTB
  7. Jones soda is WAY to sugary for me, once in a while it can hit the spot like once or twice a year. They serve it fountain style at the Seattle Seahawks stadium
  8. Just saw Doubt, I guess if I have to rank.....so far, this could all change (need to see the wrestler, Rev Road, and the Reader) 1-Slumdog 2-Milk 3-Vicky Cristina Barcelona
  9. Going to see Doubt in an hour, but so far my favs would be... No particular order: Vicky Cristina Barcelona Milk Slumdog The Dark Knight Forgetting Sarah Marshall, not Oscar worthy obviously but it was as good as Knocked Up for me
  10. instead of YoYo we should of had tweedy up there singing us a tune or two
  11. Same here, i look at Rotten Tomatoes before movie to get a general idea of if the movie is a must see or rent, then after I see it i like to check out the full reviews
  12. a friend told me Umphrey's McGee and DMB were playing together at 10KLF. However I assume that means they are both playing the same festival, not playing the same stage at the same time, maybe Wilco can hit up Mountain Jam this year (Wishful Thinking though )
  13. I have heard glad its over from the heroes soundtrack
  14. Thinking outloud here, but I imagine there is not one person on this earth whose favorite soda is Sierra Mist
  15. I would do coke with Darryl any day if he was playing for the Red Sox
  16. I will never understand the entire love fest with diet coke some people have. I get that it is probably WAY better for you than standard cola, but that unique diet cola taste is horrifying to me (though i like moxie...hmmmm) I'm lucky that I don't drink soda too much so when I do I spring for the real stuff Oh, Cream Soda is the king of the roost, though I always forget that it exists so I hardly ever buy it at the grocery store
  17. So I have had several thoughts on soda (Pop if you will) recently. First off, I'm in the store and I notice some sort of Grateful Dead themed soda, so I pick it up and my mind has been blown, all the Pepsi brand logos have been changed. I 100% see a grateful dead theme going on! which isn't a bad thing. Then a few days later I see the greatest soda in the world, Moxie, is appearing in major grocery stores (at least in Rhode Island). Up until now I can only get it in small time shops, now I am seeing it at the Wal-Mart of Stop &Shops of the world. Are there any other Moxie drinkers her
  18. really great band, i got to see and meet em in boston a while back, they closed up with heart of gold
  19. That hat will ruin every single road game for me, pathetic money making scheme by the sox
