Just had delivered to me today the new album from The Wonder Stuff (Oh No, It's The Wonder Stuff). Haven't spun it yet (it's next in the queue) but I've flipped through the liner notes and there is a second album of covers included. That covers record has a little paragraph about each song and what inspired the band to do it. On top of that, the album, proper not only includes lyrics, but a little background about the inspiration for each tune. I LOVE stuff like this! I've heard it several times on Spotify. Love it. Like 70s Bowery punk updated for the 90s, but recorded in the 2010s.

Spotify's recommendations for me, so far, have been pretty damn good. I've only heeded a couple of them, but both have been very, very satisfying. This is what is suggested for me today: Vashti Bunyan - Just Another Diamond Day: http://play.spotify.com/album/6BjFznpsyrxCFMpp3hzlD2 Very pleased with that aspect of the service so far.

Yes, the rest of the Lee Relando is good. If you like that one song, you will be happy with the whole album. Really reminds you what a freaking great guitar player he is.

Yeah. It's because I can't read. Warning to all you kids: make sure you read the WHOLE thing before reposting something. Or else you wind up looking like an idiot, like me.
