  1. ...and Bill Haverchuck is one of the 5 or so best characters in the history of TV, too.
  2. I like some of those early Goo Goo Dolls records, too. Especially Hold Me Up.
  3. Nice bit of info, Shug! I love these albums and am looking forward to taking a good, hard listen on headphones. Thanks for the tip!
  4. Taking my younger son to his first concert in November. Just bought him the tickets for his 11th birthday to see Fun. He loves that album and, frankly, so do I, so it won't be that painful for me (at all)!
  5. So. Central Rain Fall On Me Talk About the Passion Fall On Me Wolves, Lower 7 Chinese Brothers Texarcana and some more when I feel like actually putting some effort into it.
  6. I tried. I really did. But, just like with Seinfeld, while I can see it's brilliance and even laugh at a lot of it, the characters piss me off too much, too frequently for me to enjoy the show. CYE even moreso than its predecessor.

  8. I knew that he was a drummer before he was a singer. But, dayum! The man had some chops! Check it:
  9. Yeah, I should have included them in my first post. Definitely. Love Maiden.
  10. A really hard task here. Although my #1 is easy: • Rocks Off the rest (in no real order): • She's a Rainbow • Monkey Man • Gimmie Shelter • Happy • Shine a Light • Street Fighting Man and 3 more that probably also come from Exile.
  11. Don't know. Don't really know anything by the band except what I've heard on the radio. I called in for the theater tix. The CD was just a bonus, but I'm looking forward to hearing it.
  12. Another couple of great male/female choices: Yo La Tengo Eleventh Dream Day Papas Fritas
  13. I think that this one might be a little more challenging than the dual singer one. At least once we get past the obvious ones. Television Thin Lizzy Judas Priest Rolling Stones (yeah, Keef plays some leads, too.) XTC (ditto for Andy... no slouch)
  14. And this morning I won theater tickets and a copy of The Best of The English Beat.
