Honestly, I saw one of these Eccentric Soul compilations at Half Price Books this weekend, and considered it for a couple of minutes. But I, sadly, did not pull the trigger. Saw Scott Pilgrim last night. It was awesome. Nearly impossible to describe, but a helluva lot of fun. Also, Kieran Culkin was surprisingly great as Scott's leering, slutty gay roommate (and voice of reason). I could see him getting a Supporting Actor nod, if the Academy were to pay attention.

Heard the first single from the Elton John/Leon Russell collab. "If it Wasn't For Bad" (I think that's the name). I liked it a lot. Sounds to me like a return to form to Elton. Take that for what it's worth, but I am going to check out the album.
