I got rid of this record when I was really getting into the underground stuff in college and purging my collection of everything mainstream. That was a mistake. The band may be a parody of themselves now, but: That is some SERIOUS rock n' roll right there.

Yep. Is SRC the name that the band went by, or just an obscure acronym for a better-known band? EDIT: Nevermind, I found the AllMusic review here.

But yeah every time I go into a record store, I think about picking one of the ones up that are on that list, and usually wind up not, because of the above. But I'm sure that I will at some point.

Old Crow Medicine Show in Chicago tomorrow

Seriously, she was all over the place and I just watched her most of the time, being completely entertained. The band was outstanding. Real high-energy and just a lot of fun. I could've listened to a couple of those songs all night. And if, within the next 10 years or so, "Wagon Wheel" does not become a bona fide classic that everyone knows, then there is no justice. My only disappointment was that they didn't play "Take Em Away". But I didn't even think abo -

Probably my least-favorite of his Luaka Bop "comeback" records. But it's been a while since I've heard it and should probably go back and give it another spin sometime. Nonetheless.... to Tom Z
