Someone at another board posted this as the "correct" chord (barred across the 3rd fret): To me, though it is too resonant to be any sort of a barre chord. Barre chords just don't ring out like that, 12-string or not.

Thanks, Lam. My band is, since August or so, just me and my guitar. And I do not do any touring, since I am a daddy and family guy. But, if I do get a gig sometime around here (where they actually let me suggest another band for the bill) I will let you know and try to get you on there. That would be fun.

I was thinking about this today and, I wrote it as a Johnny Cash thing. But I can really hear Dwight Yoakam or Steve Earle singing this. Just last week, i bashed my guitar and... HOLY CRAP! THAT'S IT!!! It's a simple one, so... all open strings (from A to E) with 2nd fret held down on both B and E strings (making a D and G, respectively. So... A,D,G,D,G, low to high). Best chord ever.

We had a giant, I'll be the midget: That's me with my friend Dave, who plays (palyed?) drums in my band. I am the opposite of foxy. And did I mention that you'll be able to see me on TV in Chicago tonight?

The audition process started on the phone. Then, they had a big group of us over to Adobo Grill in Ukranian Villiage (in their party room) for a cocktail party, where we mingled. They brought us in one-by-one to have an on-camera interview with the producer of the show, where we talked about our restaurant. As to whether or not they pick up the tab, I do not know. I assume that they do, but seeing as how I did not make the cut, I may never know. At any rate, even the audition was fun. But I'm bummed that I didn't make the show.
