I've never been to the Northerly Island place. Any good? I was supposed to be in attendance at the last Brent shows at Tinley park in 1990, but my own stupidity and an undercover cop conspired against me. Seems out of the way, but I see they still book tours there too.

It connects (via a left turn) to the Music Theater too. Back when I had disposable income we were routed that way (in and out) for a show I went to in 2007.

That's the one our bus was coming down, but that entrance to Alpine was closed (except it was staffed, so maybe they opened the gates for VIPs only...)

They made all entrants pass through a single entry point into the parking lot - the main entrance. They had all the others closed. It sucked. I'm looking at Google Maps right now, and unless your secret back road involves climbing the ski hills to get to the resort, there's no other way in.

Would have loved to get to the lot earlier (and left earlier too), but such is the life of shuttle reliance. Bark River had a ton of heads there, ranging from old farts to crusty road warriors to backwards hat bros. They had a burger stand up and running when we got back and that burnt thing was just what I needed before sleeping on the hard ground.

I'm trying to figure out if the physical set is worth the extra $80 over the digital files. I'm not the type to burn the discs and resell the whole thing, and I know from experience with things like the May 77 box that came out last year, that I take a look at the booklet once, and then it's on the shelf for the rest of time. I think I'm going to forego the physical box set this time.
