agreed! it's baseball, not tiddlywinks. cousins was well within the rules of engagement.a bigger name player would be called a "gamer" for doing the same thing. hey thats probably the first and last time i'll type that word....
-
a striking resemblance, no? or possibly other rockstars who he reminds you of: in countenance? attitude? speech? intelligence? style? sorry, too incompetent to upload jpg.....help on the way!

Me, too. I was first introduced to Mr. Killebrew by way of Jim Bouton's "Ball Four" - the Fat "Kid"........ Then I read the back of his baseball card.....amazing. and a true gentleman whose performance (non enhanced) and demeanor are a rare thing in todays sporting world.

:thumbupgo tribe go! went to phils mets game yesterday. halladay is just a master.. at one point his pitch count was: 6 balls 46 strikes thats just plain weird. thats just plain awesome. sold out bank. phils close out win with blues brothers concert/movieintro theme ("I can't turn you loose") followed by the hi def scoreboard "high hopes" by harry kalas. brings a tear to my every time- later tony lukes for italian roast pork w provolone and broc rabe flyers game flyers lost so it wasn't quite a perfect day.....

thanks for asking! for the last year or so i've been in a 73 mode. heavy rotation with a lot of the jams surrounding eyes. and much of what bounces around the 73/74 playin's are usually toasty. one of my favorite jams is the 79 stanley theater (pittsburgh) out of he's gone. 12-1-79. i think i'm gonna put it on right now, come to think of it! and of course some of the fillmore 71 stuff...impossible riffing...it can wear a guy out. also- some of the quintet stuff (my favorite w herring/haynes): cumberland and viola based .....magical!

where to start..., wait, i'm not qualified.... paging analogman. analogman, please pick up the grey (brown-eyed?) courtesy phone.

rickrolls can be rough... but they are a walk in the park compared to getting "julesd"

wow, jeff's "meh" comment has it's organic beginning. The comments when any new record drops are fairly ridiculous, no matter the artist. at this time, any discussion is pretty much mental masturbation. and some of you guys have lotion on the brain....

flyers win!!!! complete opposite of game 1 for both teams hate to say must win game for philly but, of course, it was!

dagwave replied to Duck-Billed Catechist's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
And.... after reviewing his career stats, I'm not convinced "declining" is legitimate...... In the immortal words of Harry Kalas: "You could look it up!" overall feeling: God, I'm freakin excited for spring training!!! -

shoot, I'm not sure young is at fault here - he's switched positions how many times, and contrary to popular belief, fielded his position decently at ss 2b 3b. my opinion: mgmt f'd with him, said they had a place for him, then got caught trying to move him. he's a clean consistent player in every facet. declining , yes, but not falling off a cliff. many teams could benefit from his play and his character. his contract is overpriced, but that's not his fault. trade thoughts: helton even up yankee prospect/ middle reliever package blanton and some b list minor leaguers lotsa tea -
