  1. Rolling Stone has this. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/the-new-immortals-20130305
  2. I love TP as well and happy he is actually going to switch it up a bit. Last few times I saw him it was like 1:30 shows with no surprises, same sets each night and It has bothered me. I always hoped he would be more like Bruce and play longer and different sets.
  3. Nice.....And points all her own sitting way up high Way up firm and high
  4. I can't deal with the ticket prices they want to get for a "tribute band". Think about it, none of the front line (Guitar, Guitar, Bass) are still there yet they still play and still get the fans. No different then Lynyrd Skynyrd. I understand they can't get along with Dickie but I saw them a few years ago and it was just OK and I felt like I was watching a tribute. For those who enjoy it...go for it.
  5. Looks like he is putting the classic lineup back..so I wanted to see the history....lol. 6. Very weird story...Wonder if it is the baseball player (lol). Who lets a guy stay for 11 years without paying rent. WTF is going on here...must be missing something in this story. Uncashed checks really.... Just watch Love for Levon on TV and Garth was there, he is a very strange (I guess he always seemed that way to me).
  7. Pretty much. The Wilco of today is really very far away from the Wilco of 1995 or even 2002. Most if not all bands change over time (not just personnel) but sound....except maybe Rush and Cheep Trick.
  8. Yeah...they should do a tour of the South around the Roo show......WooRoo. Florida is always a great place for them to come to...I have an open invitation for any members of Wilco to have dinner at my house and my wife said she would make an Italian fest for them.
  9. Funny just came on my shuffle yest....your time is gonna come...sounded pretty...pretty...pretty good.
  10. He has a blog and write about music and stuff. I actually enjoy most of what he writes and agree with 75% of so of his observations.
  11. why? And even a cursory read of Wikipedia tells you it’s not true. Hell, this is a guy who toured Australia with Midnight Oil! Did you watch the “60 Minutes” piece? I’m loath to write this because Rodriguez appears to be such a humble, good-hearted soul. But the bastards promoting this movie are not. Hell, they even duped CBS news. I haven’t seen the movie. I will. But from square one it smelled bad. You mean a guy was hit in South Africa and didn’t know it and labored in obscurity for decades, until some filmmaker in Sweden found out about it and made a movie? Let’s start there. With the fi
  12. Looks interesting but most of it is bullshit. According to lefshetz
  13. Does Yes...Live at Leeds exist. I tried to find it online and nothing. I know about YesSongs which is great (classic lineup and get recording).
  14. Me too...only version of Blue Sky live with Duane I ever heard...and it is great.
  15. Not just American but all groups I would put them in second ten maybe for American. Maybe 10-15 top American. They only made 3 records total not enough material for me
  16. I wouldn't put GNR in the top 30 all time.
  17. Layla LZ 4 Some Girls Ragged Glory Tonights the Night OK Computer Born to Run Darkness of the Edge of Town Madonna 1 Ten Just a few off the top of my head
  18. Sounds like it could have been a Wilco song...listen to the end...Pretty Pretty Great.
  19. I suspect that Steve is a member (not full share)...only because remember when the originally reformed...he held out for like 2 weeks, they actaully went on tour without him...then he came back.
  20. Anyone know the house band for the Kennedy Honors. I know Kenny Arronoff was the drummer?
  21. Phoenix Jim James...I thought only the single was out...anyone hear the whole thing Wilco....late 2013?
