  1. Just got it in the mail. Nothing on line yet. I only get it because they cancelled Blender and they send me Maxim untill subscription runs out (at least that is what I told my wife). Sample from article: Years after forming Wilco from the ashes of alt-country group Uncle Tupelo in 1994....For Real. It does have some interesting stuff on the Loft and some other things but really.

  3. I just listened to the recording and it was not there...I don't think they played it. Side with Seeds is the song they played after Handshake Drugs
  4. Off the top of my head: U2 - All I Want Is You So intense, I feel it every time. Radiohead - Paranoid Android Hurt - Johnny Cash
  5. Yep...my family lived in Phila and was able to get a ticket......what a long day...we showed up at 4:00am (general admission ticket)....my wife (just my GF at the time) refused to use the bathroom so she did not go until around midnight...I still don't know how she did it. When Plant said....does anyone remember laughter...I think I cried. We were at 4/14/87 because I remember Maria McKee.

  7. You should get the previous Phoenix CD...it is better then current...I love it.
  8. Analogman...as usual you have hit the nail on the head or head on the nail.......I think that I do have just about every show that has been out there and I am missing many shows. I just did a quick count and I have over 490 shows on over 200 gigs on hard drive space...all backup up. The only SB shows we get these days if it is a webcast or on radio from Europe (with DJ's talking).
  9. Yep that is the package..I am getting 4 VIP...cashing in my Life Insurance now.
  10. http://www.rockhall25.com/ I think I will get the VIP Package.
  11. I think Wilco is one of those groups that like to check out different venues as they tour the same towns over and over. Others that have done that a lot are Black Crowes and Bob Dylan. I have seen each over 10-15 times and they always seem to be playing different places. I bet it keeps them more interested. Plus, at least in Wilco's case they are starting to play larger venues.....example this new show in Chicago. I think when the show was "pre announced" nobody was guessing the right venue.
  12. Sounds nice. I was just talking about Rick Nelson on that song "Garden Party" at lunch. I wonder if he tours will Bruce come along?
  13. Funny, I have been to at least 5 shows since the comeback and 3 of those after MF left and I have to say I did not hear any negative stuff at any of the shows. The board are always going to have that stuff. Just like people on this board always talk about the Jay Bennett period of the group we all love. So it is part of the nature of these things. Also, I really don't care if the other fans don't get the songs....I do.
  14. I agree they would be on the list for sure...they are a group.
  15. AWESOME, you guys always do great work. I try to tape any show I go to down here in South Florida so I can appreciate the effort. Can't wait to hear it. and for the person who said "greatest hits", I will have to respectfully disagree with you. Any setlist that has ATWYS, Impossible Germany, Spiders and Misunderstood....and I'm Always in Love......is beyond great. Plus being in South Florida we can't be picky.
  16. I agree with thoughts but really a Canadian Band
  17. I thought about BS & TP but then decided that they were solo artists.... We could do a list of great backing bands E Street Heartbreakers Crazy Horse
  18. I was thinking of my all time favorite American Bands and here is my top ten or fifteen (in no particular order). Grateful Dead CCR Eagles Allman Brothers Aerosmith Guns N Roses REM Beach Boys Byrds Nirvana VU Pearl Jam ZZ Top Doors Ramones the next bunch....... Metallica Van Halen Chicago Green Day Kiss I did not include Wilco because it is a given that I think they are the best but did not want to waste a spot. Tell me who you think should be on the list (or off the list).
  19. At least 5' 9" because he took a pix with my son who is 5'8" and he looks a bit taller.
  20. Yes, they played it last week on stage (I think LA), she came out for that song. VH1 could only play it if they had a video and Wilco has not made a video since AM (I think).
  21. Obama was not there, he is oversees. As we all know they have met him many times in the past.
  22. How are they not in the rock and roll hall of fame?
