I think that Green Day was influenced by the stooges....I can't understand the backlash that BJA and Green Day get. I think they have at lease 2 if not 3 all time classic albums and many other great songs.

Man...I loved that back in the day....Soul Sonic Force, Clear, It's Like That....so many classics. I had the 12" woofers in the hatch of my 1973 Chevy Vega...with like 500 watts of power...that base was crazy.

Go buy some gear and do it yourself if you don't the selection. Actually I do tape shows...I have over $1000 in equipment and have taped 2 separate Wilco shows (Jacksonville & Tampa) and about 20 other shows including Bruce, MMJ, Citizen Cope, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Kings of Leon, Green Day, Black Crowes. I plan on taping the Florida Shows this year as well. I was only commenting on the fact that it seams like less people are taping Wilco shows lately or if they are they are not sharing.

It seems like less shows are being taped (or at least put up on Dime or ETree). Only 1 show has come out on the current tour (at least 8-10 shows so far). We need to do better then that guys and gals. SUITES

Deals with venue owners...many venues have certain seats they they hold back to give to either "seat license" or season ticket holders of sports teams. 3. Deals with ticket people (ticketmaster) 4. it's not a conspiracy....some person is trying to sell tickets for a profit. Stubhub is a secondary market where people sell tickets to people and ticket brokers are on there as well.

Jeez...I wish they had planned a little further south. Can't say I blame them after last show in Miami at the Fillmore....only 1/3 full place. St. Augustine is a long drive of SF...we will see....already driving up to Clearwater for Wilco in March

I think the point was that this guy wanted to ask the band if he could go up on stage at a concert and propose. I don't think that he wants to pay the band to have a private concert. Also, the thought that the band would grant this request is not realistic. Could you imagine how many "shout outs" the band would have to do if they accepted these types of things.
