  1. I don't think Vol 2 was ever pressed for vinyl...
  2. "Angry Again." Heard this on the radio yesterday evening for the first time in many, many years.
  3. Other obligations kept me from getting out to RSD last weekend, but I swung by my store today and they had a few goodies leftover. I grabbed the Justin Townes Earle 7" of "Move Over Mama" and "Racing in the Streets." Yessssssssss.
  4. Nice picks! Always good to hear. Whadja score?
  5. Wow. Just grabbed this and I'm so glad I did.
  6. I really loved his first solo record, and out of the two he's made with the 400 Unit, I prefer Here We Rest. Now playing:
  7. I first heard DMB when I was 12. Under the Table and Dreaming. Probably still their best album and the one that'll get played whenever I feel like hearing DMB. I've never really understood the whole "all DMB fans are douchebag frat boys" concept, though. I was in a fraternity, and was pretty much alone in my enjoyment of anything DMB-related, perhaps with the exception of a few individuals whose "fandom" was about the same level as mine. I've been to a few DMB shows, never really had a bad experience or thought "geez, this crowd is awful and full of douchebags." And I also agree with wha
  8. I too would like to have it, but I don't believe it was ever pressed for LP.
  9. I thought I read something the other day on a music blog that Jon Bon Jovi was in an interview, lamenting that Apple and Steve Jobs destroyed the music industry, and it's a shame that nobody buys music "the way they used to." Of course, I'm sure iTunes has been very good to Bon Jovi -- I can't imagine too many people are getting on there to download the full Slippery When Wet record to get the deep cuts, rather than just "You Give Love a Bad Name," "Wanted Dead or Alive" or "Livin' on a Prayer."
  10. Yoko will not break up Wilco. Paul kept The Beatles together in the final years. That is all.
  11. Ah...this is a good show. Snagged this on the Owl & Bear archive a while back.
  12. Thanks for sharing, this is a great recording. Tweedy has changed his picking pattern on "Black Eye" a bit -- makes it a little more bouncy.
  13. Once there's a cloud that offers unlimited storage/uploads at a "reasonable" rate, you'll be set. I can't imagine it's too far off.
  14. I read that about Google too. I'm really curious to see what comes next. I really liked the idea of the cloud and used LaLa frequently while it was still active; it was great to not have to worry about storing everything on an external hard drive. Being able to access my full library from anywhere -- a computer, phone, etc. is awfully convenient. But I'm with you on the phone, actually. My battery sucks as is, so I can only imagine how quickly it'd get zapped if I was using it to play music too...
