I enjoy the Being There-era live recordings of Wilco and the covers they tossed into the setlists. Now, I don't really need to hear any covers. Their catalog is so deep and full of great songs (and so many that are rarities) that I'd rather not get a cover where another great Wilco song could've been included.

Why would you buy the LP if you don't have anything on which to play it? By the way -- turntables are quite affordable these days.

There's not a damn thing wrong with listening to A.M. Hell, as of late, I've actually been in an Uncle Tupelo mood.

Highway 61, Blood on the Tracks and Another Side of Bob Dylan are the three I can always hear in their entirety no problem, every time.

Just listened to "Cars Can't Escape" for the first time on headphones. Wondering why I never gave it the headphone play before. Too many details on this one to even name. Banjo. Piano. Three-part harmony on about two or three words. Eargasm.

I too recall the man boobs. I'm still on the fence about their IATTBYH cover, but I do love me some good soul bands.

Say, Murph's list is interesting. Tried it out. Not bad. Essentially t's just Abbey Road and YHF mixed together with alternating tracks. And why he chose not to include "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window" is beyond me. I have a hard time breaking up the Abbey Road medley. Enjoyable nonetheless.

I thought The Weight is a Gift was a great record. Didn't care for Lucky as much.
