  1. Nobody answered this one: What Bob Dylan song features Steve Jones and Paul Simonon on guitar and bass?
  2. Ooh, good idea, got to pull that one out.
  3. Vivian Stanshall...ok I cheated on that one, sorry! I still have no idea about Pearl Jam's Jeremy. Isn't the guy they wrote it about in Prison? What Bob Dylan song features Steve Jones and Paul Simonon on guitar and bass?
  4. I certainly prefer the Black Crowes with Marc Ford, no question about it. But the Crowes with Luther is still better than so many other bands out there, and still worth seeing.
  5. I went to a show last year with some hardcore members of one of those boards which will remain nameless. They were very nice but pretty much spent the entire show complaining about how the band sucked without Marc Ford and how it does not compare to xxx show. Kind of sucked the life out.
  6. Pretty harsh words. In his defense I don't think Gene pretends to be "an artist" anymore.
  7. Anybody recognize the artwork? Apparently this guy was a non professional artist, lived in New York, and nobody has come forward knowing who he is: http://www.harveyalbums.com/
  8. Looks like an Anne Rice novel or something.
  9. I could have watched him be interviewed all night. I have heard all those stories so many times but I still get giddy like a schoolgirl listening to him talk about it. I liked that he did an electric arguments song.
  10. Kind of amazing someone found it and told you about it.
  11. It's all subjective but fun to debate anyways: The original debate is comparing Wilco and REM. I never stopped liking REM, there are songs I like on every record. I just think as a rule anything after LRP does not compete with Wilco's albums. I don't even kind of get excited when REM puts out a new album, but I still do for Wilco. I think Wilco's post YHF work is as good (better in the case of AGIB) as the pre YHF work, I know that is contrary to many (most?) people on this board. No way Green, Out of Time and Automatic are in the same league as the early records.
  12. Really enjoyed it. They have a nice chemistry.
  13. I change my mind, Chronic town through LRP competes with the best Wilco but that's it. I saw them on the Fables tour and the Monster tour and still stand by this statement. I love Fables, and there are amazing songs on almost every album but the albums (as a whole) after LRP don't compete with Wilco for me. "They're marching through Georgia, we're marching through Georgia, marching through Georgia G-G-G-G-Georgia and there stands REM"
  14. Rock Band preview Looks like they did it right. A couple seperate videos here. Plus the remastered albums.
  15. Latest Time, that's all MILF right there. Her thighs are sublime.
  16. So far Jack White has covered: Love Sick, Isis, One More Cup of Coffee, I threw it all away, Outlaw Blues, and now New Pony. Someday he is going to do an all Dylan tribute album, I just know it. I would like to hear him do Desolation Row or maybe even Po Boy.
  17. I "discovered" this one a few years ago. I'm always late to the party. It is actually quite good.
  18. It is interesting. I assume it's one of his home made collages.
  19. I always look forward to a new Pollard. Hope this is good.
