That's a good point. In Dylan's Chronicles book he talks quite a bit about him and Lanois butting heads, to the point where Lanois smashed a guitar out of anger. Takes a confident man to tell Dylan how his songs should sound. Rick Rubin seems to have that touch as well. NOt sure he ever argues but he certainly seems to be able to convince artists to go back to their roots and start doing what they do best. On another note, I'm enjoying this U2 record more than anything since maybe Achtung.

I am pretty sure "Oysterhead" or some Les Claypool group re-made Pink Floyd's "Animals" album. Rose Hill Drive picks a classic album and does it in it's entirety on New Years Eve every year. So far they have done Band of Gypsy's, Zep I, Zep II.

Gish and Siamese dream are classic but I never got beyond those at all. I'm sure there are some gems. The man gets a hell of a guitar sound on those records.

Freaking Netflix. I got about 2 minutes into episode 4 of season 5 and it froze up. Won't let me play it. I swear %80 of the disks I get from them are screwed up. Now I have to wait until next weekend to get my Wire fix.
