  1. Oops, I'm a dumbass and didn't even look at the link. Very cool though, maybe I can stream a preview!
  2. You going? I want a full report of what to expect, I got tickets to see him on 4/11.
  3. Here is mine. I was afraid it would end up being chronological order but not quite. 1. Murmer 2. Chronic Town 3. Reckoning 4. Fables of the Reconstruction 5. Lifes Rich Pageant 6. Document 7. Automatic for the People 8. Out of Time 9. Green 10. Monster
  4. Hmmm, I don't think I have listened to it since it came out. Have to dig out my cassette and cassette player and give it a play.
  5. Wow, I'm streaming it on myspace right now and it's sounding really good. Is this released yet?
  6. I love Nirvana. I still think they might have the best Unplugged show of anybody. That's not his best vocal performance but it is a demo.
  7. Gearing myself up for the show on 4/11!
  8. Alright, I hooked you up. My company does a matching gift program so hopefully the amount will double in a few days if I did the paperwork right. Thanks for taking part and good luck!
  9. Wow, only $8000. This one or the Jimmy Page re-issue that came out a few years back would be amazing. Too steep for me though.
  10. Have to admit, I did notice the similarity to "Dead or Alive". I still think it's a great album. In my top 3 for the year so far.
  11. I don't know who played on it but I like the Pedal steel in "Wiser Time" from the Crowes.
  12. That was good, my heart skipped a little bit. I have lost a little innocence and will be wary from here on out.
  13. He always seemed like a cool guy. Just a frighteningly good guitar player. As far as this thread: Cruise Missile (or anything else off "The Introduction" by Steve Morse") Zap - Eric Johnson
  14. Nice, just listened to this one on the way to work this morning!
  15. Jeff Beck info New Jeff Beck DVD coming out.
  16. Thanks for taking one for the team.
  17. Well that's just impressive and downright depressing to a hack guitarist like myself. "The McLovins"! Even the drummer has got mad skills for someone his age. I would just quit school and start touring if I was that good.
  18. Very nice. Catchy as all hell. Really enjoyed this one. Dang I wish I could write songs. I'm ready for the whole album.
  19. "Richard Manuel is dead" from Danko/Manuel.
  20. Cool link, thanks for that. Sounded like Jeff Spicoli doing the review.
  21. I seem to remember William Gibson being from Canada? (could be wrong). And Farley Mowat of "Never cry wolf" fame? As far as music, you have to go with "The Band"! For film, I only know "Porky's" and that Bob and Doug McKenzie thing. And SCTV of course!
  22. Still have not heard if they are coming to town. Anybody know why they named that song "Detlef Schrempf"? I mean, I know who Detlef is but I'm not hearing why it's called that? It's such a beautiful song.
