Morning Star Corn Dogs!

No pics, but our fridge is like Jeffery Dahmer's, just beverages and condiments in there.

For years now, I've been walking in a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Info on CF from the foundation: Ireland has the largest percentage of CF carriers in the world; some of my in-laws in Ireland have a total of five children with CF, between three brothers and their wives. Irish-Americans are also affected. We walk on a team that was formed in support of a family that we knew as children. Several of them died in their teens, and the remaining family members were all screened for the CF gene before they had children. Despite this, one of them has a daughter with CF.

May I introduce the newest Wilco fan......

That is exactly what I thought! Congrats to quarter23 and the whole cd family! She's beautiful. -
Could be. There have been limits like that for other shows.

In the past, some people have gotten better tickets in the general sale than were available in a pre-sale, but this is not always the case. In other words... I don't know! I don't think it's the same for every show, so there's probably no way of knowing until the next batch of tickets go on sale.

shutout? (put all the ticket/pre-sale madness stuff in here)

The Fillmore is the same. Sucky. They don't even have a decent calendar anymore. -
Is that a joke? I really hope so, but it's hard to tell. People can talk about whatever they want to talk about, if you're not interested, just ignore the thread. Edit: not directed at Walken!

Yep, that other place is "After the Show". "Before" stuff goes here.

I was sitting in Sam and Sooz's basement, listening to Dave sing, eating a chai ginger cupcake, and looking around at all the lovely people in the room, and I had a very conscious thought that I was perfectly happy at that exact moment. It was just one of those beautiful little slices of time. Happy birthday, Dave!

All the mail carriers in SF have insane calf muscles, from the hills.

When does he get the fabulous wide-ribbed cardigan with the zipper? I've seriously considered a career change just to pick up one of those babies.
-
Welcome to VC! There is a rule about waiting a while before requesting a show, but you certainly weren't the first person in this thread to break it.
-
Why does Wilco hate you? If I meet you in person, I'm going to tell you that story about that one guy.
-
Dude, seriously? I'm hoping to attend 80% of those.

All the info, from Kris.

I think we don't, but that's only because I think they would have sent out an e-mail by now if we did. People seem to be getting hung up on the "create a username and password" thing, but it looks to me like that's all they're talking about, the one you've already got.
-
When you get to that page, go to the top right-hand corner and click on "your account". Then there's a spot for your user name (not your e-mail address) and password. If you do that, then it'll take you back to the "you will need to create a unique username and password during the ticket buying process" page. When you get there, click on "your account" again. This time, it should take you to a specific page for your ticket history, etc. I think when you're at that page, you're actually logged in, and you probably won't have to create another username/password. I don't know that for sure,

I merged a couple of theads, so the continuity is a bit off.

Wow, everything at the same time is right! This is going to take some strategizing... http://wilcotickets.musictoday.com/Wilco1/shopper.aspx Does that get you to a place where you can set up your account now? I just checked, my username and password for my account is good from the last time, but I'm not sure if there's a specific password for the presales.
-
Yeah, what the hell?!? That is insanely cool. Gets me every time. Wish I could have been there for that alone. Holy crap. OK, so Acuff-Rose, and this one. Just for those two. He is a man of many talents.

I think that was bjorn's problem with the copy editing.
