gonna have to disagree w/ you here...our neighbors have always had two of these yapping machines, and they are high-strung annoyances. -

what is the most noble of dog breeds? -
the stream is probably 128 bit, so hooking to a stereo won't be much of an improvement...

pretty sure that Nick Saloman (aka Bevis Frond) played a song from him on his radio show today. -
that's cool. i hope he did too.

Buck Dharma is their lead. IMO, the best guitar soloist ever.

btw, i think there are a couple of people here who also post or lurk on the DBT board...one of the cool things there is a user-sourced Artist of the Week feature, and BOC was tackled in a most excellent manner a few weeks ago...check it out if you want to: http://www.threedimesdown.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5576

oh yeah, Sandy Pearlman produced that LP, and he did a lot of work w/ BOC.
-
not sure...i think he was dating Ellen Foley at one point, who also did some singing w/ The Clash.

totally sucks, but not too surprising. BOC is one of those bands who are really and truly underrated...people know "Reaper," "Burnin' For You" and the cowbell skit on SNL. the run of records from the debut through Spectres (and one could make an argument for Fire Of Unknown Origin) was really quite excellent.
