  1. imo, Wilco is logs more interesting than The Autumn Defense.
  2. wow! that is pretty cool. cool site too...i found this monster: http://guitarz.blogspot.com/2009/10/steve-albinis-16-string-guitar.html i guess i was too far away to notice on that tour.
  3. hahah! awesome! i know Kim's played an SG bass, but never seen Lee or Thurston w/ one.
  4. Kurt's dance moves are lacking. but his songs and lyrics aren't. it's probably a draw in the hair dept.
  5. has anyone ever seen a photo of Thurston or Lee playing a Gibson?
  6. they were really fun. rockin' out action...nice to see the young generation not forgetting how to do that.
  7. Going out on a limb here, but i would say Probot is the best thing Grohl's done.
  8. Berber and Sconce made a special appearance.
  9. just finally getting around to watching this: http://www.npr.org/event/music/173331505/dave-grohls-sxsw-2013-keynote-speech excellent.
  10. YLT always tours...B&S, not so much. some of my favorite B&S songs, if you wanna see if they are on Spotify or Youtube: The Stars Of Track and Field Like Dylan In The Movies Dogs On Wheels It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career Fox In The Snow I Fought In A War Loneliness Of A Middle Distance Runner
  11. that's gotta be a little bit strange to share an entire tour w/ a headliner and never have any interaction. but it is Dylan we're talking about.
  12. : now watching this kick ass rock band: http://vimeo.com/63263223
  13. top 5 YLT song for sure. love it. they closed their SSF set w/ it too. kinda bummed i didn't go last night...i'll blame it on the stingy press list...
  14. Do you think it's the fault of Wilco, or the community? Or both?
  15. that's kinda how it was w/ me and the Guided By Voices mailing list, back in the mid 90s...made friends from NYC, California and London, all of whom I still keep in touch with.
  16. it's funny how the turnover's gone...even though i was a fan back in the day, i didn't find this board/join until a few years ago. i was browsing the members page by post count recently and tons of high total posters were completely foreign to me.
