  13. if you wear sunglasses in order to conceal the fact that you are staring at the naked bulb, does it diminish the effect? and on a related note, what kind of factor does wattage play? does a 100 watt bulb wake you up more than a 60 watt bulb?
  14. if i was already half-awake, could i close one eye and stare into said lightbulb in order to wake up completely? and why doesn't it work in reverse- when i stare into the darkness i should immediately fall asleep. on the contrary, the existential shiver down my spine is insomniacal and occasionally gives me one of those headaches everyone is talking about
