  1. I used to live in Memphis & actually saw Wilco when they were there in 2011. It's pretty much guaranteed to be muddy, but it is very easy to get close to the stage & generally a nice atmosphere down by the river.
  2. I finally just ordered a vinyl copy of the album last night. Held off as long as I could. I still really enjoy it, much more so than Wilco's previous two efforts.
  3. haha I'd be impressed if all 6 guys could fit on the stage at the maple leaf, but Mahalia Jackson would be cool. I'd bet they play civic or tipitina's though.
  4. Break out Comment (If All Men Are Truly Brothers) for the 2nd time...
  5. I hadn't heard them play Bull Black Nova in a few years before Saturday night, god that song is so awesome live
  6. I'd bet on a fair amount of those being performed, but the real question - Sunloathe, come on guys, play it!!
  7. What I could muster so far that's left: Casino Queen Pick Up the Change I Thought I Held You That's Not the Issue Should've Been in Love Far Far Away We're Just Friends My Darling In a Future Age Someone Else's Song (Was I) In Your Dreams Why Would You Wanna Live Reservations Sky blue sky Please be patient with me Leave me like you found me Solitaire Sonny feeling Everlasting everything Sunloathe Black moon Open mind capitol city rising red lung hoodoo voodoo Get's iffy with stuff like outtakes, uncle tupelo & from mermaid ave.
  8. Damn, Shakin' Sugar - did they play it with the feedback at the end as in the demo version? Like someone said, get Sunloathe and Blasting Fonda in there & we'll be good.
  9. Just want to say I had breakfast at Dove's Luncheonette over in Wicker Park Saturday morning & it was absolutely amazing, and Revolution brewing was worth the visit. Sunday morning I went to the MCA for the "David Bowie Is" exhibit, which I would encourage depending upon your interest in the thin white duke. Got around cheap & fast on the L, and overall really enjoyed the trip. (but I'm grateful for the 65 degree weather here in new orleans).
  10. Packed tight in there, lot of kids, but the guys were fantastic. Still can't believe they played Panthers
  11. I'm driving in for Saturday's show solo & plan on getting in line about 6-6:30. Try to pick up a toy/book for the kids, if possible!!
  12. An expanded 4-LP YHF 20th Anniversary release? I bet TMM is all over that (and yes I'll pay the $70+ for it as well).
  13. Woud like to have seen Shakin' Sugar & the alternate version of Poor Places, yet, again, they will surely be on an expanded YHF in the future.
  14. Saw Spotify mentioned earlier - as of now, "What's Your 20?" is available but 'AMF' is not...
  15. These polls just help me realize how solid this album is - tough choices.
  16. Thanks guys, I certainly plan on checking out the Green Mill and am ready for the cold!
  17. I'll be in town for the Riviera residency (only my 3rd time in Chicago); does anyone have an opinion on breweries to visit in town? I'd like to go to Lagunitas, but Half Acre looks awesome..
  18. true -- how did this thread get bumped again?
  19. Never done this, but just my personal opinion... AM BT ST YHF AGIB SBS W(TA) TWL
  20. Anybody like the song Vampire Weekend did on Kimmel back on Halloween? Never been a real fan of theirs, but that song has me interested for the new album. (As a young white male I almost feel obligated)
  21. Ah thanks, never heard it. Love the ending.
  22. What song is Jeff playing around with around the 2:10 mark? It switches from backstage to the concert footage until 2:40 or so
  23. Augurus, Let it Loose has always been my favorite Stones song
