No, I am starting to think that you are here to convince us that you haven't heard it.
-
I know someone from New Zealand who is sponsored by a company in the UK I used to work for - if that's any help to you. I don't know any more than that, even though I am a UK Citizen, sorry.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if he/she has heard it - maybe they are telling fibbs, but i could believe they are telling the truth too. I do think it's going to leak very soon, probably in the next few weeks - I can feel it in me water.
-
Rayleigh Scattering, I thought everyone knew that.
-
I think it is a homage to this: but I could, of course, be wrong.

I haven't got a Mangina, if that's what you're implying! What do you think? NP> Silver Pistol by Brinsley Schwarz

Don't worry. Anyway, I know if I sent him any pictures he'd have them posted in the Rockstar Girlfriends thread faster than you can skin a cat, and he's not going to take advantage of me that easily.

What?! Without my make-up on! NP.

Don't be afraid to get in touch with your feminine side, this is the 21st Century! Still playing Lavender Diamond - I might try listening to it in a dress next....
-
Dance Until It's Tomorrow has just become my new favourite song on the album - her singing is pretty special.
-
"Oh No" is my favourite at the moment, but this certainly comes close.
-
It is good isn't it. It's a bit more poppy (well Arcade Fiery) than the first EP, but still has what made me like them in the first place. I'm listening to it too.
-
hmmm, about as good as i thought it would be. track 5 on that list - lavender diamond is good though (becky stark obviously got an early leaked copy of neon bible too)

the devil hijacked your thread; cos satan is real, working in spirit - you can see him and hear him in these threads every day. -
I am sure I saw this in a film once. Doesn't she run for school president next?

Lavender Diamond - Imagine Our Love

well, it's illegal, isn't it? or at least the downloading and sharing of copyrighted material is. so you obviously run some risk, but how high that risk is, none of us can tell you. you'll have to wait and see if it happens. my advice, if you are worried, is to not use it.
-
yeah, they're gonna get you.
-
Cool! What's it like? NP

I was a bit uncertain the first few listens. But, then it just suddenly clicked. Anyone that hates it - you're wrong - you just need to listen to it a few more times (probably 8 or 9 times in total - so studies show) - trust me, you'll get it in the end.

I said the first time that a few people had done versions better than him, my next post was a bit misleading, I guess. But, if he can't sing, then seeing as the amount of times he's been covered by people, then few of his own versions would be definitive ones. Oh, and I'm not talking about Jimi Hendrix's All Along The Watchtower (cos I actually really dislike that version). And also I think the fact that he actually takes American folk songs and then himself makes versions that it's often hard to top, then that alone shows that he must be something other than a good song writer. It's normall
-
Yeah, I know his writing is great, so if he writes great songs, but he can't sing them, how come nobody else sings them better? If it was a thread about the loudest singer or the most pitch perfect singer, then obviously he wouldn't be mentioned, but that's not the case.
-
If he can't sing then how come the amount of cover versions that are better than his versions are almost non-existent? Oh, and seeing how this is now about music from the 1950's onwards I want to add Sandy Denny and Laura Nyro to my list

Super duper! That looks pretty good to me. I really hope that "You Are My Face" is played out with Tweedy singing an ode to his face into a mirror - I think that would be interesting to hear.
