I just downloaded this show and the set list is just ridiculous. Ridiculous.

The way that Everlasting, Everything just disappears into thin air at the end of the song. The guitar squiggles are epic. In At Least That's What You Said, the first time that all the instruments hit together in that strict rhythm pattern. The transition from Spiders (Kidsmoke) into Muzzle of Bees on A Ghost Is Born. All the little nuances of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - from the part when I'm The Man Who Loves You comes in over the end of I Am Trying To Break Your Heart to the entire wash of feedback at the end of Reservations. When the middle section of You Are My Face Kicks in and - "all

I agree with you about Neil, for sure. However, I think David Crosby's first solo album "If Only I Could Remember My Name" is really quite awesome.

I was thinking the same thing upon first listen. It's like Wilco isn't even there to them, just a background distraction.

Well - as far as listening percentage... I definitely don't always listen to just Wilco, but I definitely listen to them a bit everyday - some days I might not listen to other artists, but only Wilco. I feel like a Venn diagram would be helpful with this equation. I don't think I can boil it down to a percentage.

I would agree with Dylan, The Beatles and Wilco taking up most of my space too. Although, Wilco is probably in 1st in my case - I have collected lots of live shows... I just can't get enough, it's like an addiction.

I just finally picked up Down By The Old Mainstream. It's definitely been getting a good amount of play since my purchase. The songs are excellent and the band is tight. I'm going to pick up Weird Tales next.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm on the west coast - so I set it to tape. I haven't seen the movie... dig the soundtrack though.
