  1. (Old) Busch Stadium (New) Busch Stadium Shea Stadium (Old) Yankee Stadium Wrigley Field (Old) Comiskey Park Fenway Park AT&T Park
  2. I'm seeing them 2 out of 3 nights in LA. It will be my first time seeing the band. My girlfriend has seen them before and thinks they are great. I enjoyed watching the storytellers show and am looking forward to seeing them live. I don't know why I didnt get into them sooner. I just started wanting to listen to At Dawn a lot this year and that opened the door for me to finally like them and start listening to more of their albums.
  3. Ugh - I wish they would announce a Vegas show... I'm tempted to go to the Palm Desert show from LA, but I'd rather make a trip to Vegas to see them... perhaps after the Hollywood Bowl and before they are off to another continent??? Perhaps, I'm asking too much... I have already seen them 4 times this year and the Bowl will be 5. I just can't help being greedy when it comes to wanting to go to more Wilco shows.
  4. My girlfriend and I will be there dancing our butts off in Garden Box 530 (if I'm remembering correctly.) Full moon sounds like fun. (null)
  5. My band (Northern Strangers) just got our website up!!! psychedelic folk adventurism
  6. I will never, ever tire of hearing Handshake Drugs live. It's always a party when that incredible bass line starts thumping away - do/do/do do do do do... do/do/do do do do do.... (null)
  7. I have seen Radiohead (twice), Paul McCartney and Sonic Youth/Pavement at the Hollywood Bowl since I've moved out here. I really enjoyed each show I've seen there and the sound has always been stellar. I managed to get super close Garden Box seats for Wilco and it will be the closest I've sat at that venue (hopefully the boys won't look like ants from there). All that said, it will be awesome if they play some smaller venues in the week leading up to that show. Seeing as the Bowl show isn't sold out yet, I'm not expecting multiple LA shows this time around - though I would be pretty happy to
  8. Very interesting... Here's hoping they fill that week-long hole between Reno and LA with a few more SoCal area-ish gigs... I'm still crossing my fingers for a Vegas show.
  9. Hollywood Bowl!!! ..fingers crossed for some more dates to be announced around this show on the 30th...
  10. I'm enjoying it do far after a few listens. I really dig the piano parts that are all over the album - the combination of the piano and acoustic guitar in many of the songs is quite nice. I'm liking Hip (eponymous) Poor Boy specifically. But I really like the feeling of the album overall. (null)
  11. There are a bunch of various versions of the seating chart on google maps. Here's the one I used: http://hollywoodbowltips.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/HB_SeatChartHigh.jpg (null)
  12. Thanks for the link! After checking out the view from my seat, I must say I'm pretty excited about my ticket purchase! I also found a more detailed seating map for the Bowl and saw exactly where the tickets are located. I'm feeling pretty spoiled with all the Wilco in Southern California this year. I saw four shows back in January (3 in LA and 1 in San Diego - I too was shut out from that presale, but luckily my girlfriend managed to get through) and I'm ready to do a few more this time around, if the opportunity presents itself... (fingers crossed... c'mon more SoCal-ish/Vegas area show
  13. I ended up with Garden (Level) Presale 3 (section) row 630. Not sure which section is "Presale 3" but row 630 will be about halfway up whichever section it is. This will be the closest I've sat at The Hollywood Bowl for a show. Previously, I had "Super Seats" for Sonic Youth/Pavement and was in the next section back for both Radiohead and Paul McCartney. The presale was pretty confusing with all the different sections and not being able to just select "Best Available" or something. I just kept trying for 2 tickets in every section down the list until one of them hit. Really glad I got i
  14. I was listening to this last night. I couldn't believe my ears when the lyrics kicked in for Art Of Almost. Very cool version of that song.
  15. I managed to score tix for The Hollywood Bowl show in the presale!!!
  16. Good News!!! Here's hoping they announce a few other shows in my general area around this date... Edit: It looks like they haven't played in Las Vegas since 2009. I'd definitely be down for a drive to see Wilco there.
  17. This is so Awesome!!! Thanks for alerting us all. It's so cool to have a soundboard put up of a show I was actually at! Now if they would also put up the show from the LA Theatre, where they wouldn't let anyone tape...
  18. So, basically classic rock fans should only listen to Wilco until they get to YJF; and then ignore the rest because it's either avant garde or poorly written? (null)
  19. I totally thought of you as soon as this song kicked in!!! What an awesome version and how fortunate for us all to see it! (Especially if it's your handle and it's your birthday!) I loved hearing Radio Cure!!! (even if it did get a little messy in the middle, I also thought it looked as if Jeff were about to stop the song)... Seeing this song last night completed the cycle for me of seeing every song off YHF live. I'm really happy they did Less Than You Think... I love the lyrics to that song and the noise transition going into Art Of Almost was killer. Someone had previously mentioned
  20. So excited for tonight!!! But still basking in the glow of this show at The Wiltern... Laminated Cat was probably one of the most awesome things I have ever experienced at a rock show. It was really just stunning and face-melting all at once. It was really great to see She's A Jar - a personal first. Casino Queen was another one that had me smiling from ear to ear. The transition into Hoodoo Voodoo was super tight. (by the way - Laminated Cat, She's A Jar and Casino Queen were all requests I had put into the website.... so go me!) As for the $20 VIP crap... it's crap. And it's p
  21. What an excellent night!!! So much rock music in one epic show... It was a seriously rocking vibe tonight and the Palladium was the right place to have that kind of show. Jeff was very playful tonight... lots of funny banter... I loved the bit about Michael's mustache being Michael's Walt Disney look... I Must Be High, Candyfloss, The Lonely 1... get out of here... The Lonely 1 was really a nice way to end the show. It's such a beautiful arrangement. I love the way Jeff exited while the others continued playing and then left one by one. Really, really cool way to end a rocking show l
