  1. I dig it. Definitely different from the stuff on D but cool enough that I'm curious to hear what else they've got going on with this record.
  2. Yeah - you're easier to recognize with the same names and what-not... One of these days I'll change my MMJ board name to a song like the one on this board. After the amazingness of the Wiltern shows last year - I'm convinced to go with A Picture Of Dan (just to keep the theme and give a hint...) They blew me away with the version of A Picture of You they played at the Wiltern. Amazing. I was also at the Aspen 2010 show! It was my girlfriends first Wilco show and it was a stellar one for sure! They were definitely hitting on all cylinders at the Irvine show - even seeing the Bob Weir s
  3. This was a seriously special and incredible night of music all around. Ryan Bingham and his band were excellent and fun to watch, even if I didn't know the songs. MMJ was full of energy, as usual. An excellent set, as I've come to expect from them. The whole game changed when they brought out Jackson Browne and did Late For The Sky. What an amazing song and inspired choice for collaboration between these two artitsts! I was in shock as I stood listening to that beautiful song. Don't Do It was also a great choice and rocked super hard. Really awesome version of Wonderful with Taylor
  4. Arcade Fire is excellent live. I don't know that I'd put them at number 4 of all current performing acts. Personally, I would have definitely ranked Wilco higher than them. Paul McCartney should be higher than 15 for sure. His shows are rad. What a great performer.
  5. Umm... Wow. Really looking forward to next weekend in Irvine. Anything can happen on this tour.
  6. Hajj!!! Cats Can't Escape! I've been requesting that like crazy for the Irvine show. Hope we get it too!
  7. On the MMJ board, a lot of folks are really impressed with Wilco. A lot of them walk away saying that even though MMJ was great, Wilco stole the night for a lot of the shows.

  9. Saw Fleetwood Mac at the Staples Center tonight. Killer show. Really rockin' and psychedelic.
  10. Good Set! I was just listening to Late Greats today and thinking how badass it is. Glad to see it pop up again!
  11. So glad to see a tape of this show appear! Thank you to the taper for catching this little bit of magic for the rest of us to hear.
  12. So... maybe in the fall Wilco can do a whole seperate tour with Bobby Weir, just for us folks who missed these four unique happenings of musical wizardry... Maybe?
  13. All I can say is Whoa! Dark Star with Weir? That must have been fun.
  14. This video of MMJ and Weir doing Dear Prudence is pretty badass too. Great version of a great tune.
  15. Found this today. Pretty groovy version of Friend Of The Devil going on here...
  16. Awesome video. I was totally coming to this thread to post it after I had just watched it. Thanks!
  17. Here's hoping At My Window stays around for awhile. I'd love to see them play that tune.
  18. I always go with YHF. Definitely the best for this circumstance for me.
  19. Certainly not as cost friendly as Solid Sound.
  20. Saw them open for MMJ at The Wiltern back in September and that was my first experience with them. They can definitely jam, but when I saw them everything just sounded really loud and distorted - not much dynamic happening during that set, just a lot of loud loud loud! They morphed on of their last songs of their set into Hey Jude. That's definitely a way to get people into your set.
