Amen! After 4 listens I'm digging this record. The variety and texture is damn interesting all around! John Stirratt is a monster!

I don't even know where to begin... There is just so much happening on this record. I have officially pre-ordered my vinyl copy!

I'm definitely feeling the Neil/Crazy Horse thing going on here. Great track - loving all the instrumental solos and jamming... can't wait for this album!

Saw The Decemberists film a mini-concert for Jimmy Kimmel last night. The band did 5 songs, 2 were actually taped for the show. This was my 2nd time seeing them in the past 2 months -AND this one was free!!! I will definitely be seeing them again this year when they return to The Greek in August. I'm really glad I've gotten into this band. They really put-on a great live show. If only I could get that much Wilco going on in my life...

This is just awesome. What a great album! What a great band!

This is a killer show/boot. This version of Ashes is really brilliant. I love the newer versions, but this particular one with the crazy acoustic solo/noise thing is just awesome. The older version of Muzzle of Bees on this recording is pretty great as well.
