I'm crossing my fingers for a double disc album! It would be awesome to start hearing some of this new stuff at these live dates that are coming up.

Saw The Decemberists film a mini-concert for Jimmy Kimmel last night. The band did 5 songs, 2 were actually taped for the show. This was my 2nd time seeing them in the past 2 months -AND this one was free!!! I will definitely be seeing them again this year when they return to The Greek in August. I'm really glad I've gotten into this band. They really put-on a great live show. If only I could get that much Wilco going on in my life...

Major bummer. I downloaded this earlier but haven't tried to listen to it yet. Seeing them at the Palladium (LA) in May.

I have no idea what to expect from this. So excited for Saturday andvthe prospects of an upcoming tour!

This is a killer show/boot. This version of Ashes is really brilliant. I love the newer versions, but this particular one with the crazy acoustic solo/noise thing is just awesome. The older version of Muzzle of Bees on this recording is pretty great as well.

This was a ridiculous show. Hard to compare it to anything else. It was a great way to end my concert-going year! There is a great DVD of the show floating around on DIME. Don't watch it if you have yet to go see the show live and are planning on it. It's better to have it as a surprise live.

Holy Crap! Saw the show at Staples Center last night. I'm really glad I made sure to get tickets to this as soon as I heard about it and it blew my mind more than I could have even imagined. Upon the advice of a friend, I didn't really seek out any info about the updates to the show/story or whatever.
