  1. He seems to have a thing for Alice In Chains songs.
  2. Dinosaur Jr. is playing Bug in it's entirety. Also, they brought along Henry Rollins to interview them before they play. Which must be sort of weird. You get all geared up for the show when the band appears on stage, and instead, the show starts off with a bunch of gray haired dudes talking. Dinosaur Jr @ Variety Playhouse 6/26/11
  3. Roadie (1980) I have probably not seen that movie since, well, 1980. Funny stuff. And what other movie features Asleep At The Wheel, Blondie, and Meat Loaf all in the same scene? None.
  4. I just meant he comes up with some kooky stuff. Flaming Zeppelins: The Adventures of Ned the Seal is not for the easily offended - let's put it that way.
  5. I think that is who appears in the video for the song when the line comes up. He appears right after a cartoon joker during the chorus after the Only a matter of time 'til night comes steppin' in line.
  6. I always get into this song at this time of year: It's nice that the state of New Jersey is recognizing Clarence. Bruce Springsteen - Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street? (1973) This show took place the day before my 7th birthday.
  7. I read all of those books a while back. Oddly enough, I did not read the first one until last. They make more sense if you read them in order.
  8. I have not yet listened to the latest one, but that episode with the stories was great.
  9. That is true, he does not seem to care for any of that sort of music.
  10. It seems odd, but I suppose she got there by way of her stint in The Dead.
  11. Steve's new band: Trigger Hippy
  12. Weird thread, man. I like it quiet. I hope it stays that way.
  13. I've been reading some different sort of books from what I usually read: Joe R. Lansdale: Flaming Zeppelins: The Adventures of Ned the Seal Cherie Priest: Four and Twenty Blackbirds Wings to the Kingdom Dreadful Skin Not Flesh Nor Feathers Fathom, Those Who Went Remain There Still Boneshaker Clementin Dreadnought Bloodshot
  14. That the one. I'm wrong about that. The sound is really good on that album. Eddie Kramer worked on it. There was a also a single cd release of the Winterland shows put out by Rykodisc in the late 1980s. I have that also.
  15. New Hendrix releases OR should we say old releases with new stuff added on. Still, Hendrix In The West is a great live album. I have owned it since the early 1980s.
  16. I wonder how that version of Dreams sounds. I don't think I knew they were playing it that early. According to Crowesbase, they had just began covering the song (live, that is) the month before. I like the cover of Dreams they did with Warren Haynes at several shows in the fall of 1996. And the one with Jimmy Herring from March 14th 2006.
  17. I saw that yesterday. I thought about grabbing it.
  18. You should get this book and read it: A Room Forever: The Life, Work, Letters Of Breece D'J Pancake [Paperback] Thomas E. Douglass
  19. Yes. I have studied his life for years. I have been to his hometown and grave site.
  20. Chris Robinson East Coast tour dates
