  1. I could do without those sort of U2 songs. There was another article in Billboard the other day about how U2 are going to have the highest grossing tour ever.
  2. I don't think I have ever seen the re-released version. I just have the version that was released on VHS years ago. Although I guess I have seen some clips on Youtube.
  3. I can't say it caught my attention the first time around. We'll see.
  4. I'd like to go see the movie next Wednesday. It would be cool to see the dancing girl in the U.S. Blues sequence up there on the big screen.
  5. Circuital Streaming at Relix.com: My Morning Jacket "Circuital"
  6. I think I got an email about that last night. I may check it out later.
  7. It could be they do, but I already pay too much for cable. I don't have all that fancy stuff. They must have offered more money, or the ratings were not good enough for VH-1 to mess with it anymore. I guess it is good some clips are out there. The Alice Cooper Group - "ABC In Concert" 1972
  8. Alice Cooper induction into Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. There are some other clips in the list on the right side of the page. It's a shame VH-1 does not run the ceremony any more. One of my favorite Alice Cooper's songs: Shoe Salesman
  9. Another article about the Brandeis folk festival release: Long-forgotten recording of Bob Dylan's Brandeis folk festival performance to be released
  10. About 2 hours of the interview is up at Archive.org: Owsley "Bear" Stanley interview with David Gans on 1991-01-13 A lot of what he is talking about (equipment wise) can also be found in the book Grateful Dead Gear - The Band's Instruments, Sound Systems, and Recording Sessions, From 1965 to 1995.

Oh, I know that. I just recall someone saying in one of those benefit After The Show threads that no taping was allowed. At least I think I recall seeing that posted.

Maybe it's the other benefit show. Or I am just thinking of something else.

I could be wrong, but I don't think any taping is allowed at the benefit shows. I seem to recall someone saying that last year.
  14. Looks like it's happening: A Treasure: New Neil Young Album Coming
  15. Grateful Dead Live at The Matrix on 1968-10-30 This above is really a Mickey And The Hartbeats show. Great stuff. I have not listened to it in a while.
  16. If it was up at one of those sites, it is up at The Wilco Archive (minus a few shows we have been asked to take down).
  17. Looks like Chris is going to be a busy guy: Bob Weir, Chris Robinson and Jackie Greene to Headline the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival
  18. It was removed by whoever posted it where you found it. I think. I don't think I would be interested in that era of Neil's music anyhow.
  19. Looks like I have cracked board in mine. I found another on Ebay. I offered the guy 50 bucks and he went for it. It is a Sansui PD-10. The one I just bought has a dust cover, which I never had with the one I have. I am going to keep the one I have for parts.
  20. I was reading somewhere that people were busting on him for liking The Bee Gees. People often forget they were not always high voice singing Disco dudes. I found that amazing also. I actually saw that band on the tour - opening for Robert Plant. The only time I ever saw them.
  21. I like this new music Chris is making. Also, the sound of the show is very nice. The 10 Albums that changed Steve Gorman’s Life
  22. Here is a list of threads you may want to look at concerning people's picks: November 2007 December 2008 June 2009 August 2009 May 2010
  23. This thread reminds me that I am still looking for a copy of Yessongs with the booklet intact. I have an original pressing, but no booklet. Of course, the sound of that film/album is not exactly perfect.
  24. That album must be from the time period when he trying to be Willie Nelson - according to the Shakey book. Is that right?
