Looks like I have cracked board in mine. I found another on Ebay. I offered the guy 50 bucks and he went for it. It is a Sansui PD-10. The one I just bought has a dust cover, which I never had with the one I have. I am going to keep the one I have for parts.

I was reading somewhere that people were busting on him for liking The Bee Gees. People often forget they were not always high voice singing Disco dudes. I found that amazing also. I actually saw that band on the tour - opening for Robert Plant. The only time I ever saw them.

This thread reminds me that I am still looking for a copy of Yessongs with the booklet intact. I have an original pressing, but no booklet. Of course, the sound of that film/album is not exactly perfect.

That album must be from the time period when he trying to be Willie Nelson - according to the Shakey book. Is that right?

Plus, he has done all sorts of solo shows since he got better.

Like a lot of other old bands, they grabbed a sound a like dude and carried on. It seems odd, but I guess they give the fans what they want. And You and I is one of my favorites. It's sort of funny that Steve was tuning up, and it ends up on the beginning of the track.

The one I have is old. It was given to me years and years ago. When I went to find a new needle for it recently, I found that it sometimes sells for several hundred dollars. Of course, I had to take it apart last weekend due to one of the built-in RCA cables not working. It has somehow came apart on the inside, so I need to solder it. I have recently got my stereo system together for the first time in a long time. Now all I need is a tape deck.

He also wrote the song Walk Hard. I think much like Peter Case, and Steve Forbert the music he makes today is different from he did all those years ago.

I am not very interested in the later day stuff. I am not really a fan of New Wave or Power Pop or whatever you call it. That sort of music just does not speak to me. Like a lot of other old bands, I guess they changed with the times. I suppose I have to respect that. If you want to see something really cool, do a search on Youtube for an acoustic version of Long Distance Runaround from the 75 tour. I have heard that Jon may be coming back. He is one of my favorite singers of all time, and I would love to see him some day.

I still don't get the guilty pleasure deal. What's wrong with liking great music made by musicians who are some of the best at what they do? You do know that Jon Anderson is no longer in the band. They have a dude who was in a Yes tribute band as the lead singer now. He is really good, I think. His name is Benoît David. Also, Oliver Wakeman has replaced his father, Rick Wakeman on keyboards. Although, I guess Geoff Downes is back in the band now. I do have to say that although Alan White is great, Bill Bruford is the man.
