  1. I believe the deal was that he compared the album to Dylan's The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. I believe this was due to the feel and some of sounds of Heartbreaker - not the song writing. I wish we could go back to real rock music writing, instead of lists and short articles.
  2. That is one of my favorite Bruce songs. Old Max had two jobs, and now he has none.
  3. Thanks. If I decide to grab the shows, they will have to be good FLAC rips. I am a bit wore out on chasing shows at the moment anyhow.
  4. Phoenix Without Ashes - Harlan Ellison The Legendary Joe Meek: The Telstar Man - John Repsch Trouble in Paradise - Robert B. Parker Chiefs: A Novel - Stuart Woods Aftermath - Charles Sheffield Curious Notions - Harry Turtledove
  5. I have watched several Sci-Fi movies on Youtube over the past year - including the ones you mentioned. I am looking for these Andy Griffith TV movies - they have a couple of them: was the other version of Genesis II/Planet Earth.
  6. Did you buy those? I am curious about the quality - as they have TV movies from the 70s that I want to buy.
  7. Far out. I guess I am not the only one who has a copy. I grabbed a nice rip of Agora Night (8/9/1978) the other night.
  8. Yinz can enjoy the video thanks to Aricandover: A Shot In The Arm (video) There are a few other threads about videos. I doubt Wilco's record company view videos as a worthwhile marketing tool these days. VH1.com MTV, CMT, and MSN have the videos up also.
  9. Will.i.am, Slash Remix The Who's 'My Generation' For Haiti Charity Single I wonder if they had to deal with Shel Talmy? I believe he still owns the rights/master tapes of the early Who stuff.
  10. I try to stay away from negative trips on here (try to) but, that and Pop almost made me quit buying their records. I think they are one of few bands whose new albums I am still willing to buy. For me, U2 is the following: Boy (1980) October (1981) War (1983) Under a Blood Red Sky (1983) The Unforgettable Fire (1984) The Joshua Tree (1987) Rattle and Hum (1988) Achtung Baby (1991) Zooropa (1993) Pop (1997) All That You Can't Leave Behind (2000) How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (2004) No Line on the Horizon (2009) The rest I don't think measure up to that five year period. For those wh
  11. I've never heard anyone say that before. I can handle the song Lemon - that is it. To me, the album is a piece of junk. I suppose I have never got over the overwhelming disappointment I felt after hearing it for the first time.
  12. Taper's Section (January 25, 2010 - January 31, 2010)
  13. Exactly - Plus, I would rather they wait. I don't want another Zooropa.
  14. It looks like they are nominated. I would like to see this sort of deal:
  15. The Moody Blues (much like The Kinks, they sort of over did it): Days of Future Passed In Search of the Lost Chord On the Threshold of a Dream To Our Children's Children's Children A Question of Balance
  16. Well, I don't know about that first part. I have talked to the lady - she seems pretty real to me. I have that PBS show. I was thinking about it the other day. He is wearing a cape of some sort, if I recall correctly.
  17. Have you seen this one? The Doors: From the Outside (2009)
  18. Seem like I have read that somewhere - Of course, the South Park dudes would not like that. I have also read somewhere that Conan is still tied to NBC by way of his production company.
  19. I have not seen a source anywhere (so far).
  20. I just never liked the dude. I respect his talent, I just don't like him.
