  1. Nope - that is what I was told a couple of years ago. So, I received bad information. That is what I get for not doing some research. I should know better.
  2. I seldom ever go to the movies, but I know what you mean about the disruptions. There may also be a Magnum P.I. movie in the works. Now that I would probably go see.
  3. There are actually three versions of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. The first one is the best. I don't really feel the need to watch re-makes. I don't know who the audience is for 80s T.V. shows that are turned into movies. I guess it would have to be people my age. I suppose what the producers are hoping for is to make the same sort of money that The Brady Bunch movie made.
  4. Taper's Section (December 28, 2009 - January 3, 2010)
  5. This is old news. The guitar was made and marketed in 2005-2006. We talked about it in some thread back then. I don't think they are still being made. I believe there were other models - a Slash model, for example. I recall reading that they were junk.
  6. Oh, so we have talked about that before. LOL I forgot.
  7. That is right. One of my favorites: Don't You Care.
  8. They were a Chicago band. LouieB probably knows about them. I just love the way that dude sings, and they have a nice studio sound. The one album I don't have is - In One Ear And Gone Tomorrow.
  9. That is probably the most cds I have bought in a long time. I would like to have the new Beatles cds, and The Rolling Stones re-masters, but I have not grabbed them yet.
  10. All of those JA cds have been remastered with bonus tracks. Bless Its Pointed Little Head was the last one I bought. Thirty Seconds Over Winterland (July 21, 2009)
  11. Kicking Television is a mutli-track recording. You are not going such a thing out there. What you are going to find are AUD, SBD, FM, and Webstream sourced shows. Here are some links to threads where the same question has been asked: Best Wilco Shows of all time? (March 2008) Top Downloadable Show (June 2009) Favorites? (June 2009) Favorite live shows (August 2009)
  12. I don't know about best, but I think this is all of the cds I bought this year. 14. I have been working on the hundreds of tracklists I have for my CDRs/DVDRs. In doing so, I found that some of the discs were damaged, which led me to searching for those early Whiskeytown "bootlegs". In the process, I decided to grab all I could find. I have heard a lot of these discs over the years, but not all of them. Whiskeytown - The Freightwhaler Sessions Stranger's Almanac Promo (Those Weren't The Days) The Baseball Park Sessions The Pre-Strangers Almanac Sessions The Forever Valentine Sessions Fucker: The Bug Sessions Fucker: The Hoboken Sessions Drunken Confessions B-Sides and
  15. I will have to check the Zappa stuff on there next time. I don't think I have ever seen any Zappa stuff, except 200 Motels, a BBC documentary about him, various live clips, and some TV stuff.
  16. I watched several rock music documentaries on Netflix over Thanksgiving. I think I remember seeing the Zappa one. I did not watch it though.
  17. I have also read that the band had decided to go on with a new singer regardless of what he does. Maybe things have changed now. It could be that he is really too physically fouled up to put on the type of show he likes to do.
  18. Interesting. I read the other day that there is a 15 camera mix of the Led Zeppelin 02 show out now. I think the complaint these days is more about cell phones filming, than camcorders. OF course, I have not been to a Wilco show for several years now, so I could be wrong.
  19. All of those bands have been releasing new albums and touring. Metallica has been on tour for a couple of years now. I don't know who buys Def Leppard albums these days, but their last album did very well, or so I have read. I don't get the cartoon deal. It seems sort of weird to me. Although, Anthrax is having some trouble these days:
  20. The film is not about Heavy Metal in a musical sense though. (Not that Def Leppard are metal)
  21. Not really. Metalocalypse Heavy Metal (magazine)
  22. Taper's Section (December 21 - December 27, 2009) And don't forget to buy your: Dead-opoly Game
  23. I have heard some of his shows. I listen to the Suzi Quatro Show and Sounds of The 60s.
