  1. I saw the story below on Billboard.com the other day.
  2. I recall reading that somewhere. I think there was mention of it on Jay's official site at some point.
  3. Offcial Site (with a trailer). Now I am thinking of Heart Beat (1980). I guess Francis Ford Coppola is never going to make his film version of On The Road.
  4. I found this at the Internet Movie Database:
  5. I am down with CDs (I own thousands of them) but, it would be very innovative if EMI had offered a FLAC/MP3 of these tracks, as well as, the physical release. I know such things have been down before, but not on such a grand scale (except for maybe Radiohead's last release).
  6. That reminds me - I saw this in the news the other day. Officials see rise in militia groups across U.S.
  7. I don't care for stuff like that, but it goes on more than we know. At least they are being honest about it. I recall buying Alive, She Cried back in the day. It was quite the mysterious release.
  8. I'd say that was due to the fact that he probably got off the "medicine".
  9. I suppose it seems that way to me due to the Lucinda Williams announcement that she is going to play entire albums.
  10. Can't argue with that. Speaking of sequencing, I have always found the following weird: Stolen Car - Ramrod - The Price You Pay. I guess he did want to put two bummer songs together there.
  11. From Bruce Springsteen.net: That seems to be the thing to do now, along with bands doing cover albums. At least he hasn't done one of those. Still, I'd love to hear Meeting Across The River.
  12. The announcement is up at Phil's site.
  13. Yes, you are right. We have a thread about in the BT section.
  14. I know Son Volt ain't exactly superstar, but I thought they would have sold more albums than that.
  15. That's right. I believe prior to 1998, they were not broadcast. There are some great moments among those performances, as well as, some sad stuff. It was quite something to see Peter Green play with Carlos Santana. On the other hand, John's refusal to play with Stu and Doug, was a bummer. Of course, the one that really sticks out is the deal were Frank and Nigel were begging Debbie Harry to let them play when Blondie was inducted. I thought that was in bad taste to show that. Of course, the producers and editors love that sort of thing. What we see on Vh1 is not the whole show, of course. I su
  16. I taped all the ones that were shown on VH1 over the years (or rather, I taped 1998-2007). I figured they would come out some day. The clearance issues for all those artists must have made a lot of work for someone.
  17. I hope you got to sing your birthday song.
  18. Elliott Landy's Dylan photographs I've always liked those photos. I have number 335 hanging on my bulletin board. Mr.Landy has been in the news lately - due to his Woodstock photos. I have a first edition of: Woodstock Vision, The Spirit Of A Generation The Photographs of Elliott Landy. He has recently re-released it. He also did The Band's second album cover, and some Van Morrison albums covers, among others.
