I've always liked that song.

Elton and Marc were friends. Elton is in the Born to Boogie film, and he was with the band on Top Of The Pops a few times.

That is nice that they offer the free album in FLAC or Mp3. Of course, when I grabbed the FLAC zip folder, it turned out to be empty. HA HA I like this album. It has a pretty nice sound, I'd say. I think I like the so-called free album better than the other album. I am hoping some more of the shows that went into making the album pop up somewhere. Although, it could be only the one leaked out. Ok - they sent me another code, so I could grab the FLAC files. So if you have problems, don't hesitate to get in touch with them. According to a post I just read on another message board, the o

The places they are talking about are bit torrent sites.

Hell, the last Wilco album leaked by way of Twitter. You never know where you will find stuff these days. I am speculating, of course. I don't mess with such things myself.

There is really no need to join some privater tracker, or even mess with a bit torrent site. I am sure if one digs around, you will find them on a Mp3/FLAC blog somewhere. Also, you can search Rapidshare for such things.

They have a few great songs, but most of what I have heard is rather bland. I think most of their story is about how they act and the mischief they get into. There is something to be said for being brash and saying you are the best. But - do they have the material to back that up? Wasn't one of their recent songs pretty much a rip-off of Street Fighting Man?

I think we'll go with this one.

There are several sources for this show.

I bet that was due to the powers that be not wanting to pay them for the use of their likeness or whatever. Of course, in the case of Billy Preston, it would have gone to whoever controls his estate. I still don't get that game. I suppose it partly has to due with the fact that I grew up around a lot of dudes playing guitar. And most of them learned by way of listening to record albums, including records made by The Beatles.

I believe they have yet to work out a deal. I have read that Apple plans to make a surprise announcement on September the 9th, and the speculation is that they are going to announce a deal has been reached to sell Beatles tracks by way of iTunes.

I can tell the difference. I believe that has to with hearing Pet Sounds for over 20 years the way it was, in mono, and then hearing it in stereo with the release of the boxset. Maybe it depends on how familiar you are with something.

I posted the second one yesterday afternoon. I must have edited the post, instead of posting a new post.

I've never seen a source out there anywhere.

That figures. I would think a holiday release will happen. That is the one time of year people are most likely to buy that sort of thing, who would not normally buy expensive box sets.

I've read some reports that Walmart already has the album out for sale. I may try to get over there later and see if it is out. I just some photos of the packaging - it looked pretty cool. Instead of doing it the way Wilco does, I guess there is a card of some sort in the package with a code number on it that you need to download the album they are giving away.

On another board I am, the talk is that the album sounds like some of Jones' recent solo albums. I think I am just not a fan of these "big rock" super groups. That is cool he is doing something though. I have also read that Jimmy is working on some stuff that he is going to release at some point.

Since I don't the record album have Let It Be, I have not seen this for a long time: I think it would have been cool if they would threw in the other albums, such Live At The Hollywood Bowl, A Collection of Beatles Oldies, Hey Jude (the album), etc. Beatles Discography

I remember that film. It was made by VH1. I think I taped it also.

He didn't even want to do a lot of those shows. I didn't list the overseas shows.

See above. Howdjadoo has helped you out.

Due to the rise of Mp3/FLAC bootleg blogs, I would think one could find it without resorting to that sort of deal. I could be wrong. Plus - I think we went through this not to long ago. Maybe whoever found those tracks then could help out now.

I suppose for me it also has to do with Denny Laine, Jimmy McCulloch, and Joe English. Those guys were great musicians. I say this in regards to the Wings Over America tour.
