I believe Crawdaddy! along with Rolling Stone are credited as establishing a place for rock music and culture writing beyond the simplistic teen fare of magazines such as Tiger Beat. After that, I don't know what came next - CREEM and some other magazines, I suppose.

A Dell is what I have at home. And it is also what we use at work, so it is all I am really use to working with. My computer is over 5 years old now. I think this is the one I was looking at.

I was looking at a new Dell at Walmart the other day, but I did not have enough bread to buy it. I also recently watched this video series: How to build a computer with Carey Holzman

I've never used Vista. The computer I have at home does not have enough of whatever it takes to run Vista, and I would guess Windows 7. I know they are going to quit updating XP at some point, so I need to get a new computer.

Maybe it's part of being a Swede.

Do not adjust your television sets...

I figured someone else must have noticed it. I have never used the View New Post button or mark post as read feature. Speaking of archiving posts - I have always wondered why posts from 2006 are still here, and not in the archives. I am not complaining, just curious. -

Something weird I just noticed - The post count numbers are different in someone's profile, than the post count numbers under the avatar in a post. Or at least it appears that way in a few profiles I have looked at. -
It's still on as of the date the above was posted at Billboard. Personally, I wish this whole "old bands" doing covers albums would go away. I suppose it will interesting if they have actually recorded the album together, instead of each one adding their parts and then mixing them together. I suppose Rick would not let them get away with that. I would rather see them do an acoustic album of new songs.

I've always liked that part also:

Wikipedia link MC - I did not notice your list up there - sorry.

I recall there was discussion at some point around here about that segment being edited to appear the way it does. I was thinking of this the other day.

Yea - I just updated the other day and lost the skin I had. I have not been able to find it again. Whenever I update, it always changes the FLAC file icon, which I thankfully know how to fix. I bet this sort of deal would have bugged Jay.

WinaAmp is the one I use.

I should have said I found that by way of Expecting Rain, but I suppose most people who participate in these Dylan threads know about that site.

Unless someone puts them up at a BT site, or offers them up some other way, I doubt we will find them. There seems to be a lot of older Wilco/Jeff shows being posted at Dime A Dozen lately, so maybe they will show up.

I wonder if he is still doing business with Fantasy Records. I recall reading a few years ago that he was working on a record of 50s songs, but it never came out. I think I am going to buy the Woodstock dvd when it comes out. There is also going to be a 6 cd boxset. I recall hearing the CCR Woodstock tracks somewhere before. As I recall, the sound was not so great.

Not a complaint - but what's the deal with the PM system. I see what the deal is now. Some people are not accepting personal messages. -
There is also: Musicians Assistance Program

Has Jeff ever discussed the meaning of Ashes of American Flags?
Analogman replied to Winghead's topic in Just A Fan
I sometimes think of this song when I hear Ashes of American Flags:
