I feel the same way, i only get teary eyed for Springsteen and Wilco as well Glad to hear you enjoyed your first show You won't miss the beginning of the show, but you will probably be towards the back for sure, especially if your in the balcony. The floor wasn't actually that crowded last night, which was nice for a sold out show, i actually had room to move.

Drums could have been a bit louder, but everything else seemed fine for me, other than the bass which was muddy for a few songs.

The line around 6:15 when i got there last night was fairly sizeable, and i didn't get in line until around 6:40 cas i got a bite to eat. That being said, i was on the floor, and still was probably about 6-7 rows of people from Nels and Jeff on stage, so i was very happy with my view for sure. If you get there by 6:00, you should be in great position.

Show was incredible, More like the Moon was the highlight of the acoustic set, and acoustic Passenger Side was also great. The other highlight of the show was definitely Red Eyed and Blue/I Got You, ive been waiting for that one for a while, and it was SOOOO Sweet! Jeff seemed to be in a good mood throughout the show. The first free dinner went to a guy who requested impossible germany, and Jeff called him out for "wasting a request" on a song that was already going to be played. God, i love Vincent Moon. His take away shows are all fantastic, this one especially. They might not have done anything radically different or stripped down, but just seeing Wilco perform in that setting, with Jeff and Pat singing without microphones, theres something magical about it. And a good song choice too. I hope they recorded some others that'll get put up eventually. FYI, check out Phoenix's take away show, or Beirut's take away show. Those are my other two favorites.

I think the only acts who i would say i like better than Wilco are Radiohead, Muse, and Bruce Springsteen, and thats mostly because ive been into those three for a while, while i really just became a fan of Wilco over the summer.

Stoked to see return of Reservations, and Whats the world got in store must have been a real treat.

I was there, really incredible band. I've been a fan since the first album, but this was my first time seeing them live, and they way surpassed my expectations. Really great show. Antlers were a great opener too, though ive seen them live quite a few times before.

Sunken Treasure-->Mountain Bed-->HELL IS CHROME!!! Im not sure i could imagine a better opening trio, and extremely glad to see Hell is Chrome back on the setlists. Must have been a great show.

I should have gone, i live about half an hour away from Beacon. I wasn't a Wilco fan at this point, i hadn't ever even listened to one of their songs before i saw them at Bonnaroo this summer. Boy was i missing out. Looking back, i would have loved to be there though. Opening with Remember the Mountain Bed is a great fucking way to start a show.

These European shows have all been outstanding.

The first three and the last three are absolutely outstanding. And Side with the Seeds and Far Far Away in the middle, thats a great setlist. I like how they've been opening with some softer stuff instead of (the song) or Bull Black Nova, always thought opening shows quiet was a great way to start the night. And closers just don't get much better than Spiders.

I think i would die if i ever saw Poor Places-->Reservations-->Spiders. It just seems perfect. Ive seen it done without Reservations, and its good, but i really fucking love that song

Nah, they weren't there. I was hoping, there were rumors circulating. Especially since Mad dog just appeared a week or two ago to play drums on Spirit in the Night with Bruce and the E street band. Would have been incredible. But hey, Roy and Max aren't that bad either

Yes, on paper its a shorter setlist. But one must consider that Kitty's back was almost 15 minutes long (way longer than usual), NYC serenade clocks in over 10 minutes, Rosalita is over 7 minutes, as is Incident on 57th street. As for the show itself, absolutely perfect. Never thought i'd be able to see NYC Serenade live. And it exceded every expectation, from the opening notes of Roys piano intro. I nearly began to weep when the strings came in for the chorus, they sounded frighteningly similar to the strings on the original recording. And the horns on E street shuffle and Kitty's back real

I wish i didn't have to fly back to NY after last nights show. This one was far better, wish i was there. Still have yet to see Via Chicago live, and the show last night was seriously lacking without Spiders. Plus you get Poor Places, Far Far Away, and Side with the Seeds. Best set ive seen in a while.

I hope so. I saw them on the ballpark tour (Dutchess Stadium), and flew out to Chicago last night just to see the show. Wish i stayed for tonight's show, its looking better. Anyway, it would be great if they came back around here and did some smaller shows. After all, the albums been out for less than half a month, it would be ridiculous for them to extend their tour a bit more.

Really, you thought this was a better show than Wappingers? I thought it was a good show, i came all the way from NYC just for last night, and i was satisfied, but not blown away like i was at Wappingers falls this summer. Plus, the Wappingers show had great songs that were missing here, such as Side with the Seeds, Poor Places, Spiders, Hummingbird, and Far Far Away. I have to second whoever said that the setlist was conservative. Rockin and loud, but conservative. Was lookin for a quiet surprise the whole time (Reservations, Via Chicago, Ashes of American Flags), but they chose the mid-tempo
