  1. got section 1 row Y seats 7+8 for Mansfield... I'm a little confused on the seating chart with the GA pit and where section 1 actually is... But I guess we'll see. So pumped.
  2. i got the Hold Steady Game of Thrones 7''. also my band put out this single/music video !
  3. So the MA date isnt on sale til the 30th? god damn.
  4. I've seen Dylan twice. First time was amazing the second sucked balls. I'm gonna try my hand at getting tickets tomorrow but probably wont bother if i dont get good seats. Comcast Center sucks.
  5. I saw Kurt Vile open for the Flaming Lips. He suked.
  6. I think up and coming was a poor choice of words. I meant bands that can fill mid size venues but could still benefit from higher profile gigs. The Racontuers, Kings of Leon, Dawes, etc. are or have opened for Dylan at one time or another.
  7. Dylan does the same thing. Usually younger up and coming bands who can't necessarily fill a stadium or arena but can hold their on in mid-size venues.
  8. I'm listening to it now. Sounds real good. I saw them at Bullmoose music a couple weeks ago for an instore performance. Probably the best sounding quiet show I've ever seen. Really tight group. I was hoping to catch them with Dylan last night when they were in town but didnt have the $52 to spare.
  9. Claude Coleman from Ween and Darren Jesse from Ben Folds Five. Too good.
  10. As a musician myself, I've always loved the idea of doing things differently each time to get a different experience and result. I know YHF might have been recorded live at time but there are also obvious cuts/punch ins etc. Sky Blue Sky was mostly recorded with everyone in a circle looking at each other which I think is really cool.
  11. This is awesome. I saw him last summer when he did a set of the Guthrie tunes and then a set of solo (electric) songs. I'd love to see him with a band... I dont think I'll have the cash to get down to see him though
  12. Bad Books! at the Sinclair in Boston
  13. F Mumford and Sons Also- if you're going to be singing The Weight and mumble the words or need a teleprompter as a part of a tribute to someone who passed away... you probably shouldnt being singing it at all. I'm looking at YOU, Elton John.
  14. I thought this could be a good place for us to post links to crowd funding sites our various projects are doing. My band just finished mixing a record we tracked about a year ago. We'll be getting it mastered soon but we'll need some help getting it pressed. Check out the link below, watch the video, if you feel like chipping in, it's much appreciated. But feel free to pass the link around on your various social networks! http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/325225/x/2168098
  15. My bands last record we recorded demos very very close to how we wanted them recorded. When we got to the studio we wrote out a check list on a white board of different instruments on each track and check them off as they were recorded. Great way to keep organized and cuts down on time tracking
  16. I'm more of a pedal tuner guy. Those Korg ones with the strobe option are pretty neat.
  17. last Solid Sound fest I thought it would have been awesome for Wilco to play an album in full one night. And then the next night a mixture of the 'hits'. I feel like Wilco fans would be really receptive to the band playing their new record in it's entirety without us having heard a note.
  18. huh? John K Samson - Provincial Craig Finn- Clear Heart Full Eyes Murder by Death - Bitter Drink Bitter Moon
  19. so all the hotels are booked? If any one has a spare room (cheap ish :\ ) I'd love to take it off your hands. Otherwise I guess the campground is the next best thing.
