  2. Every year I hit the archive while up in rochester visiting my girlfriends family. Usually find at least 2 to 4 records I've always wanted but have never seen before, tomorrow, looking for richard @ linda Thompson records. 'Pour down like silver' would be bitchin!
  3. That's some funny shit, the moocow lady, and the chicklets dude. My friends and I joked on the same characters, but I guess everyone did. I think the movie captured it, grateful dead show is the best party on earth, if your a rocknroll fan.
  4. Today thought it was time to redownload Cornell 77, after loosing it in the great itunes disaster of 06, just hitting play now!

  6. Just got 'go insane the other day, it's 80's-tastic all the way! Ordered a couple other solo albums, might as well check out this new one too
  7. Been listening to donovan,s sutras, recorded with rick rubin lately, some beautiful tunes on there.

  9. SHot of Love is one of my fav's if you haven't already grabbed that one, cranked side 2 yesterday while doing yard work, sounded bitchin.
  10. Bill Kreutzmans band is playing The Fire on Girard ave. this friday, limited tix. still available. Also before hand there will be a pre-show outdoor party, like the old days! parking lot style. This came together last minute, I know there is a couple or more bands playing, the only one I know for sure is my band, North Lawrence Midnight Singers! we go on around 7:00 or so. The weather forcast looks nice, and you know it's gonna be a party! Apparently Bill himself will be doing autographs at the pre-show as well, if you want to get you favorite Dead Record signed.
  11. oh and New Morning's been gettin some spins, and coincidently enough after I made my first post here this morning, my friend texted me he has an Extra vinyl copy of 'Planet Waves' for me, bonus!

  13. Joking with some friends the other night, and we came up with 'THE TIGHT' for a lost new wave band name, or just 'TIGHT' like SQUEEZE or something. Love me some Bangers and Mash!
  14. I dig the record, and am glad there messing with there production further, stripping away reverb and such, I don't need hear the singing inside the solo thing again on new tunes.

  16. All I can say is, Jim James is coming very close to the Barry Gibb range of falsetto singing, and I like it.

  21. Sometimes Malk is a little to slacker/shrug off for his own good, hopefully just an off night though. I just picked up tickets for me and my brother here in philly, who are not only anticipating the show, but the first nice spring day we can Throw on CRCR, and throw down some beers in the backyard! an annual tradition.
  22. Some of my favorite music, also Mark Olson's The Original Harmony Ridge Creek Dippers album along with Salvation Blues are classics in my mind.
