  4. it is one of the few shows that i can watch re-runs of and still be enthralled... oh...and he died...
  5. Yes...couldn't agree more...the Atlanta 12.12.1973 show is pretty amazing. I really love the Playin' In The Band with no Donna wailing at the front and back end...the middle is pure bliss - especially the Lesh feedback blasts as they reenter the atmosphere and return to playin' reprise...ah.... http://www.archive.org/details/gd1973-12-12.sbd.remaster.102910.flac16
  6. Thanks... any way to get rid of the gaps inbetween the tracks so as to make the song transitions seemless?
  7. Just listened to this show...Wow - amazing...
  8. A bit late responding, but overall a fantastic show and experience... After Lowe set we talked to some people in the first row (wife and I had 2nd row center - thank you presale). The center front row people, at least, were "miracled" with these seats as they all were in the balcony back row. A wilco roadie came up to them during lowe set and asked if they wanted to "upgrade." Looks like first row was reserved for something / some group. The people we spoke with were very happy. The couple we mostly talked to (from chicago) not only were happy but were huge wilco fans...Karma at its best.
  9. I think the band must read these pages...
  10. The sitting standing thing is interesting from the fan perspective. From Wilco's perspective, however, i think it is pretty clear - when the crowd is "into it" the band sounds more "into it." I've seen three shows this Fall (Ryman Night 2, madison, and Berlin). Ryman Night 2 and Berlin - the crowd was heavily into it and the band responded with, in my opinion, exceptional performances. On the other hand, Madison's crowd was seated mainly and seemed not into it (e.g., "lets go brewers, lets go brewers") and the band's energy didn't seem to be there to me...and as a result the show suffe

  12. He was weird in that he was doing hand signals in several directions. I thought maybe he was communicating with the soundboard. Jeff said something to him. My brother talked to him after the show (auf deutsch) and said he was extremely intoxicated and spoke swedish... Just listening to the very clean audience that has already surfaced...
  13. Was that old guy in front of Jeff security? ... Jeff said something to him after Company in my Back...
  14. extra songs after misunderstood were: heavy metal drummer Late Greats I'm A Wheel was there another in the encore as well? i think there was...
  15. My second row center seats became obsolete as there was about 20 feet between front row and stage. Prior to the band taking the stage people started filling in the gap. I luckily got the stage spot between John and Pat. Closest I've ever been... Show was great. Highlights were the Art Almost ending jam, She's A Jar, Company in my Back, Impossible Germany, Via Chicago, Misunderstood. Another highlight was the band's mood. They were really upbeat and happy. Jeff Tweedy on several instances noted how happy he was with the crowd participation. He probably was happy people were intensely dan
  16. What time have they been taking the stage during the German leg of this tour? I will be a bit spat (late) but hopefully will not miss beginning of show...
  17. I presently am sitting in East Berlin and will see them this saturday and then sunday fly home to madison...I hope the crowd is more lively...any suggestions Mr. Cheeztastic?
