I've had Pink Moon and Five Leaves Left for years but for some reason I never picked this up until yesterday.

This Jeter/Yankees negotiation is getting weird. I'm sure he'll re-sign with the Yanks but they are pretty far apart right now and it's unusual (for them) to be playing it out through the media like this.

I really liked this. It's a novel but it's written as the journals of a British man whose life spanned the 20th century.

Blue Oyster Cult The Smiths

I saw the show last night in Boston and I'd agree with everything you wrote. Great musicianship, lots of pageantry (balloons, confetti, beach balls), and lots of fun. He opened with Seven Swans but then the rest of the set was Age Of Adz and All Delighted People until he closed the main set with Chicago. I have mixed feelings about the new album but live it was really great. It helped that I was in the third row but I think it was one of those shows that makes the entire theater feel involved.

I'm totally with you on How Far We've Come but we'll have to agree to disagree on Fire Away. I do like Time Spent in Los Angeles, another new one.
