Most people need to have their own set of scapegoats, I guess.

They just weren't very good.

The "cooking" show looks like it has a chance to be pretty good.

Maybe hate was too strong a word. I'll go with contempt.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to hate as many types of people as you do. Then I realize it's just not worth it.

I actually decided to try MOG, and I absolutely love it. Better selection than Rhapsody, MUCH better sound quality than Rhapsody, and the app works wonderfully. -

As much as I love every one of his contributions to DBT, I would have never guessed I would be this indifferent towards all of his solo stuff.

I distinctly remember Dave Matthews Band and Hootie & the Blowfish hitting it big right around the same time, which brought up the inevitable comparisons. I still prefer Hootie & the Blowfish.

Wasn't that Good Old Neon's first post to the forum? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Eh. It is what it is. The Red Sox and Yankees are the most popular teams in baseball and have one of the best rivalries in sports. And they have been good to great for years. Of course they get more exposure. I haven't watched ESPN in years, so maybe that's why none of this bothers me. There are so many other outlets now to get great baseball news and analysis. There are a couple of great Rangers blogs and good local beat writers (T.R. Aren't they both correct?

How not to subdue a f*&^(ing CHILD
bleedorange replied to Good Old Neon's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
When I was in elementary school there was paddling. I definitely feared the wrath of the paddle. Didn't seem so bad then, but I think it made more kids behave. In middle school, I had a history teacher that would put a dirty sock on the corner of a desk of someone who wouldn't stop talking. I don't remember anyone actually having to put it in his or her mouth, but the threat seemed to be e -
