Tonights' episode wasn't that bad. In fact, it was probably the best of the season so far for the simple fact of Jack being a killing machine. It just goes to show that Jack is a badass mutha when Doyle looks at the carnage and says "Damn Jack." Awesome. One thing though, the ended was not cool. I read a spoiler a few months back about this plot line. I hope what I read isn't true but it looks like it will be.

Wow, this sucks. I just saw DBT in concert two weeks back in concert. My girlfriend and I both agreed that we liked his songs the best.

Yes, MELLON COLLIE is not quite as good as their previous albums but it's still damn fine for a full 28 song album. Solid stuff considering not many bands would even attempt to think about an album that large. Also consider the batting average, even the filller songs are still top notch. Throw in the abbundance of b-sides/unreleased songs and you have a really massive project. You have to give Billy some credit for thinking on that grand of a scale. Or you can take the eay route and rip him for being egotistical. Either way, it's still an impressive effort.

My new favorite band...

Me, not so much. I'd rather just have the news that have to waid through their "humor." It's annoying to read their news stories because half of it is tounge-in-cheek bullshit. Just gimme the news without the snarky b.s.! They're not even funny to me. If it was at least funny, I'd be all for it, but it just ain't funny to me. Not say pf is better but they have toned it down to where it's readable now.

Love this album.

I know it's not for everyone but it's a good record once you get over the initial shock of it.

TMT's is too snarky about stuff - far worse than pitchfork. They aren't very subtle with stuff either.

So when does this bad mama-jama come out for realz? I loved I'm Wide Awake... but not so much love for Digital Ash...

If you count recording as him recording things like "wind" or "nature," then sure. I hope and pray that something gets released some day, but I'm just not interested in hearing his field recordings. Did people really fall for this prank? I saw something on Billboard about it.

I have fallen for Band of Horses. Saw them in Asheville the other week and I haven't stopped listening to their album ever since.

I was listening to the album last night as I was driving to my parents and thought "I really like this album." It's interesting and the sound, however polished, really fits. You can only go so far with their old sound.

No Maddox either.

I have their biggest fan ep and was terribly underwhelmed after hearing how great they were. Are their other ep's worth getting? NP: Saw these guys last night in concert at Asheville. 'Twas great. They're gonna be recording their new album over the next couple of weeks there. The new songs sounded pretty good.

Even worse than season 3? This season is kind of dull so far. It's had it's moments so far but it doesn't touch last season. On the otherhand, it's also 24's highest rated season thus far.
