  1. Holy dad-rock batman...snooze fest part two. ugh.
  2. i thought it was masturbation too? ah, so it is... Anyways, when I post in the wilco forum, I do it to get a rise out of the tweedy-zombies. 'Tis fun and I get immediate gratification everytime. Just having a little fun with the fanboys and girls who take it all too serious.
  3. Webster defines it as being a "pussy" about whether or not you should download an album by your favorite band or not. Trying to bridge that gap of being a "troo" fan and holding out until it's offically released because your just a swell person and all. I am sure the band will notice and greet you with the song that request loudly at the next concert you attend because of your loyalty and true fan status for not downloading the album. Those one or two records you were going to buy broke the bank. You're on a wilco message board. I am sure most of you will buy the album. Why even think a
  4. I am anxious to hear what his new album will sound like. Out of his '05 records, Cold Rosesz is my favorite. I naturally want it to be more like Cold Roses than 29. Then again, he also recorded a Rock n Roll part 2, correct? Maybe some of that will see the light of day.
  5. OH SNAP YOU READ IT!1!!!1 YOUR SO AWESOME!!11!1 Take a joke!
  6. Fucking indie-guilt. God, I hate you people. Jeez, YHF was leaked (yes leaked, it was streamed way after it leaked) and no one was going gonzo over listening to it before it was released. I think Wilco kind of made this bed with that album. It's out of their hands now and has been since they allowed the YHF leak. Drop the indie-guilt guys and enjoy the music when you get your hands on it.
  7. +1 to the post count. I mean who cares? Who the fuck is going to waste their time reading this shit?
  8. mrrice, your avatar is awesome. I used to love that band...
  9. The performances were so-so, but the episode was truely awful and the most unfunny SNL I've seen in a long time. Ugh.
  10. I lost my first copy of this album a while back, so I found another copy used today. I love this album.
  11. It was already on the web, the media outlets were just reporting the train-wreck, no fault on them I don't guess.
  12. Been spinning this a lot around here. Never was my favorite 'doh album but the reissue has brought things into perspective I suppose.
  13. *in my best SC redneck accent* "If you don't like then get th' hell on up outta here wonan! Always trying to ruin the mans fun..."
  14. Shit, that other thread been keeping me hot and bothered for days, imagine what seeing the real deal would do to me if I saw them instead of using my imagination.
  15. Need something hard/heavy/thrash. Need the catharsis.
  16. It wasn't that bad...was it? I fucking hate gnr: hate. However, this one wasn't that bad. It only made me want to harm small woodland creatures., that's all.
  17. Your all crazy! He's the kind of villian that you love to hate. True enough, in season 4 he was a pansy but he came into his own during season 5. And it really wasn't him so much as the blue tooth group and Henderson. he was the main dude behind it all, he just was involved with the process.
  18. Wednesday, April 11th - Orangepeel, Asheville, NC I'm not going.
  19. I like it a good bit. It is more poppier and polished. I knda like that but at the same time I miss the "old" modest mouse. I've been listening to M&A a lot and miss the open spaces on that album.
  20. I was really pissed that Logan was "caught" last season. He was too good of a villian to get caught.
  21. Modest Mouse - We were Dead... Fucking great. I love this album.
