  1. Holy shit that video was some funny stuff. I can't believe that it went so far! We're all paranoid!
  2. And to think, I get in FREE bitches!!! I work for the OP's street team, oh yeah!
  3. I think that it depends on what you're listening to. I think the earlier stuff delves too far into the twee spectrum to be taken seriously. I honestly haven't given their older stuff too much of a listen over the past few years. I think their newer stuff stands up well to repeated listens. How can you not wnat to dance listining to Wraith Pinned to the Mist?
  4. I agree! It's a good thing that my ipod has a skip button. I think it would be a much better album without that song. They said they had 40-50 songs in the can for their next album this time last year. I hate to think that these were their best songs or, more appropriately, their best effort.
  5. Mine came with a 7". That's pretty special.
  6. Thu March 29 - Greenville, SC: The Handlebar Just saw the Bottle Rockets there Friday night.
  7. But you have to register...which I ain't down for.
  8. You don't say? Well, fuck a duck. But they're not that hot...
  9. me too. I looked under my bed and everywhere. No luck yet.
  10. No, I still love it quite a bit. Besides not being the Pumpkins, it's some solid material.
  11. No one is answering the important question - are there lesbos in this film or not?
  12. Out of all their albums, I listen to those the least. I was never able to get into the first four off of the "box" set all that much. I do love the King Shit and the Golden Boys album though.
  13. They're playing in town on Thursday. I've thought about going to see them after I get out of class. Are they worth the $5 and loss of sleep?
  14. If there is a lesbian scene like the one in Muholland Drive, I so want to see this movie then. Otherwise, I'll pass. The lesbians were all I was looking forward to in the last movie. I like lesbians.
  15. I have been in a Beatles mood the last couple of days. I played lots of Beatles songs on the guitar with a buddy last night.
  16. I really liked their first one. There was a couple months after it's initial relase where they hadn't blown up beyond belief. I remember learning about them from the local npr station in KY. My room mate and I were obsessed with them. We were hunting down b-sides and unrealed tracks and were just mad with finding stuff about them. It was nice and then we started hearing Yellow everywhere. The npr station quit playing them and the top 40 station started. From there it was downhill. Their second album was shit and their third belongs in the Autumn Defense thread (definite pussy rock b
  17. I thought AGIB was a pretty gay album...I dunno, maybe they're onto something. That list is lame.
  18. I am so in love with this album. I really do like it a lot more than their past two records.
  19. Oh, it's the cute thing for sure. I am all over that shit, mmmmmmhhhhhh-mmmmmmhhhh! He just seems to have this "quality" about him that I like. Not a real answer, is it? When dealing with political figures, you have to go with the one that you think is least corrupt and I find him to be the least corrupt among the group. I voted for him in the primaries the last time and he'll most likely be getting my vote again this time around.
  20. I also agree. Please Visit Your National Parks is beyond great.
  21. I'm glad Kerry won't run; he wouldn't have had a chance...My vote will go towards John Edwards - I really like him.
  22. I bought the last two albums on vinyl, this one I got at best buy for a cool $10 but will probably pick up the vinyl as well. I waited for the album so these are my first spins. I am liking it a lot so far but I love the live versions of these songs so much better. It got a real good review on PF, so I guess their indie-cred will rise a good bit.
