I think Death Cab's Transatlanticism, The Postal Service's Give Up and The Wren's Meadowlands are the best break up albums in my collection. Having went through a nasty break up about a year ago (and possibly another one soon), those albums were great comfort during those hard times.

I saw a few weeks ago too. Best concert I've seen all year. They were really great. I really like the new direction he's taken with the last 2 albums and the new stuff sounded great too.

For me personally, it reminds me of a certain time and place and a feeling. I was on a greyhound bus going home out of Knoxville - I was going home for christmas vacation. It was so cold that night. The flashing orange lights that would pass in the darkness were so cool. Really added to the mood. I remember sitting on the bus thinking I was so alone. There weren't many people riding and it just felt so alone. I had my head phones and listened to this album from Kentucky all the way to Asheville. Been digging the 'chunk lately. Can't get enough of it.

It's Never Been Like That is pretty good. Not great, but it's a good summer album. Probably make my year's end best of list.

His manager is really awesome and very approachable. He told me that there would be a tour this fall and that they plan on releasing an i-tunes exclusive ep thing.
