Listening to the songs post-interview made them THAT much more poignant. It was interesting to hear Jeff talk about the next Wilco album and what goes into getting all the moving pieces of Wilco together and though he didn't give us a timetable for the next release, it sounds like they should be getting together soon to get the process started. Just a big hug to all of you who were there and reported, it was incredible watching the songs roll in via Twitter. NYCTaper: You're doing the lord's work and because of you I can now enjoy this amazing show. Pyschotic Reaction was my favorite -so unexpected and so so so good. You have all made me realize just how much I need to get my s- together and attend the next SSF, whenever that may be.

If we don't get another SS until 2015 it means we'll get a new Wilco album in 2014. So either way we all win.

This. 1000x this. It seemed like there was more flash/shutter sounds at last night's show. It's really frustrating and distracting to sit next to someone who hasn't quite figured out how to use their cell phone camera. Let's all just sit back and enjoy and not obsess over posting a picture to Facebook / Twitter / Instagram, etc.

Last year we showed up 3 hours before doors and there were a good half dozen or so people already in line. As for seating, The Vic is usually seatless so they put down some chairs. First row you'll be craning your neck but second row (which is where we sat last year) was really nice. Off to the right a bit works best too if you want to get some good eye contact with Jeff as he tends to stand/lean/look that way. Sorry if this comes off creepy but it's a great night and you're in for a fun experience.

I meant get together and hang out before the show. Who else is in? I'll be the short Mexican girl (early 30s) in a red hat with a book and a lawn chair (or two to share).
