I have a couple recordings of post Jerry shows that I attended that I've never listened to. I do want to watch the video of the first night of FTW though. Since I was behind the stage, I'd like to see how the stage and light show looked.

Oh yeah, the horns are all over and sounding great on PUTP. Good ol' TP tunes, bunch of covers, Stevie Nicks duets, its got it all.

"Pack Up the Plantation" is a great live album. Probably my favorite TP product. I listened to Mojo Nixon and his Outlaw Country show non stop for 8 hours driving back from the Smokey Mountains one time. That experience ALMOST convinced me to get satellite radio.

Both have their merits. I like Joel more but Mike is pretty funny too. Mike morphed into his brother Eddie for a segment during "Monster a go go!" that amused me greatly. Eddie was pounding beers and abusing the bots. I found myself watching the bottom of the screen rather than the flick itself.

I've been on a MST3K bender the last couple of weeks.

Yesterday, actually it was last night, I saw a wonderful Taurid fireball flash across the sky. It was orange.

The other day I got a brand new used 5 CD/DVD player for free. It was at the end of someone's driveway with a "free" sign taped to it. Two nice speakers too.

Going back to "The Big Short", which is being made into a film starring Brad Pitt and Steve Carrell.......I still cant believe that no one in the financial services industry went to jail for all the crimes committed related to rating those crappy subprime mortgage bonds. Its incomprehensible.

Today, I'll offer a ghost pepper update. All Summer long the plant was nibbled on by an apparently leather tongued rabbit so I didn't have much hope for any positive results. Then September came around and the plant took off, growing like nuts with flowers all over. By the first week of October there were 20 peppers on the plant and getting bigger every week. But alas, they are not ripening. Last week one night we had a mid 30s low and the plant took it pretty hard. It appears that the peppers are not going to get to a usable state. I think it was Cryptique who had a similar experience. Maybe
