All this lore is hard to keep straight.

The MIT show.....is that the one where they were smuggled on to campus in a bread truck?

Yeah, I saw Living Colour a lot back then. Not really on purpose either, they were always playing with bands I wanted to see. Lammy, C'mon, Jesus is a fairy tale.

I saw 'em at Metro and the Vic (with Primus!).

But its such a good tune. Bah, youth is wasted on the young!

Honey badgers stand tall when there is talk of meat curtains and/or onion groves.

How could there be no "Bonin' in the Boneyard" when there is talk of Fishbone? Crazy.

Wasn't caliber raising honeybees a while back? If so, how'd it go?

A simple yes or no would suffice.

Not entirely. Cleaned up my act on other fronts though. You can call me Mr. Clean now. If you want. Or not. Or NoJ is fine.

Definitely an uptick in younger white people begging for change in downtown Chicago over the last few years.

Is Denver a more peaceful and loving city now?

I see and hear coyotes around my home all the time. I've been ice fishing at night, alone, and had a pack of them running around 40 feet from me and it didn't bother me. This time was different because it was noontime and these critters were not scared of me and actually were following/stalking us. Much different behavior than what I'm used to. I'm bringing a slingshot or a sharpened stick next time I go that woods.

I don't know what that means but I plan on staying on top of the food chain. :-)

Today I took the dog for a lunchtime walk in a nearby hardwood forest. We heard something walking in the woods. It turned out to be two coyotes who had absolutely no fear of me or the dog. In fact, they started following us and got as close as 30 feet. One was snarling and had its hackles up. I thought we were gonna mix it up right then and there but they backed down after I started yelling at them. Surprisingly, my dog was not really bothered by the coyotes.

Sanders knows there is no way he can win. He's doing it to push Hillary left.

Is that the taper guy who's constantly pushing his book on the FB 80s page?

Everyone knows Ace of Spades because it rocks like there is no tomorrow.

What, no "Ace of Spades"?

Lately, I've been listening a lot to "Layla and other assorted love songs" by Derek and the Dominos and have come to realize that Bobby Whitlock and his musical stylings kick some serious keister. He wrote a good many tunes on the album, the organ/piano parts are great and his vocals play an integral part of the feel of the album. Oh yeah, Jim Gordon's drums are fantastic too.

"No Simple Highway: A Cultural History of the Grateful Dead" by Peter Richardson. Thirty pages in and its great. Still plodding thru Shelby Foote's "The Civil War, A Narrative" Vol 1 as well. Lots of great insight and Shelby offers some funny tidbits but this fat bastard is killing me. There's two more volumes too.
